I went to this school in the 2nd and 3rd grade it was terrible the kids are mean and ghetto your children will be exposed to things that children shouldn’t even know from other children at the school bullying was always said to be wrong but when I was getting bullied no one did anything about it or they don’t do enough I hated going to school when I Went there and really I didn’t learn a thing I couldn’t read until I went to a different school I dont like any of there rules or regulations I can’t believe this school is still open .

I remember the principal. I went there.

I was in the third grade at Gardner and lived on Grandmont before we moved out to the country to Pinckney, Michigan. Have so many memories of that school and riding all around the neighborhood on our Schwinn bikes, my brothers and our friends. Mr. Bustrand was principal back then, a long, long time ago. I learned to do cursive writing in class and still can do it now. My fondest memory of Gardner was when I was out on the playground and I found a five-dollar bill. All the kids surrounded me like I was a hero and I turned it in to the office. They said they would keep it until the end of the school year and give it to me if no one claimed it. No one did and at the end of the school year they handed me an envelope containing that five dollar bill, which was a lot of cash to a third grader back then! GO GARDNER!!!
