Part of the problem we are having in Australia where im located is that for a long time if you build you have had to build to a similar size to the houses around you & in a similar style or you just can't get the approval to build not to mention if you're near the bush or grass gland where a fire could come through you have to build up to the fire code so theres so much red tape making it so expensive to build before you even go into material costs that the average person can't afford to build on a single income anymore & even on a dual income its not financially viable for a lot of people. At least use in the US haven't given away all your rights & power like we basically have here. I was blown away to see how cheap housing is out of the major cities in the US compared to here like fair enough there are very few jobs out in the middle of nowhere but in Australia Even out in the middle of nowhere housing is super expensive these days 😢.

If you are going to a casual or active vacation...just buy your clothes there. I take shoes and what I am wearing, and then just grab a couple cheap T-shirts and shorts while there for beach or hiking holidays.
