Hey there! It is a gated community with dock access and a boat ramp to lake Walk In Water, there is also a golf course and of course the clubhouse. Prices vary, you can buy lots there or there are competed new construction homes for sale.

The CDD is yearly and is bundled with your property tax bill. It does not fluctuate.

Id love to know FL insurance companies and their take on metal roof/siding in terms of longevity and how often "they" would want you to replace it.

I don’t believe they want you to replace it. It can be reinspected and typically the washers on the screws may need to be replaced. The metal typically has a 30 year warranty on the paint alone.

Went there when looking for a house last year. It was extremely run down and looked very dirty. The house that was listed was a great house but with so many of the neighboring houses looking like they were not cared for we ended up deciding not to buy. Also, there is no shopping anywhere close, unless you want to grocery shop at a Dollar Tree.

This place is the sickest community I've ever seen. Im a FL native born and raised relocated from Tampa to Orlando about 10 years ago. I've always been a huge car enthusiast and currently have some fun cars. Too bad this is probably not in my credit score bracket.

Hi, there. I didn't mean to be so negative about ILE. I think it was just a little ahead of its time. I think my father bought 3 adjacent lots there as well as commercial property on the hiway. My sister inherited it a few years back and sold it after his death. I just noticed an 8,000 square foot lot for sale in Santa Cruz, where I live, for sale for 1.7 Million. Nope you can even have a wood frame house. Yes you can get homeowners insurance as well. These are hurricane rated, and honestly I’d feel safer in an all metal building than I would a block home with wood trusses personally.
