This was a first go, I was prepared to do it over and over until I found what I liked as I have seen others do that too but I liked what I saw here. You can see my world pick on the end of my last Dinkum live stream in December '24. Very happy with the starting island in the middle too.

I don't have a link to the converted file but I think it was originally the vertavia model that is now freeware and can be converted for free easily. Check the list of aircraft from here: www.virtavia.com/Freeware/index.php

Your video is really nice, but what impresses me the most is that you managed to make this plane work properly because I have it too and it's full of bugs. It's a big disappointment for me because it's the most advanced fighter jet of my country (Brazil) and it even has a nice livery with our flag on the vertical stabilizer. But man, Deimos Inc sucks.

I haven't had any issues with it. Are you on pc or xbox? This video was from it was first released and I do not know of any changes that have caused issues. What problems are you having with it?

@BrettPlays Last time I used It was a few months ago on PC in msfs2020 and the worst problem was in the autopilot that works crazy. When It was released I didn't notice much problems, but as the simulator passed through updates a lot of glitches started to appear. I tried to use it in msfs2024 and the glitches are even worse like the avionics screens very dark and the brightness button doesn't work and much more, I can't remember everything now.

I checked mine and could not find an option for it too. I am not sure you can change it on that Garmin. Might need to ask the dev for that.

Hello! Nice Video! One question: Would it be possible to open the bomb doors and drop the bombs by pressing a button from the settings that i assign to my yoke? Thanks in advance!

not sure that the developer has assigned them to any function in the sim but if so then yeah just make them the same. My guess is that you would need to edit the file to make the buttons assigned to a function that your can then use on your controls. Also check and see if the file has been updated as this might already be a function. I have not checked for a while now.

I have been wanting a quicksilver MX aircraft in flight simulator since FS9. I actually commissioned this specific aircraft years ago for FSX, and worked with the 3-D modeler on its development. I designed the logo and the textures for it and supplied as much information as I could for the 3-D model, giving feedback on the modeling throughout its development. Unfortunately, the first version of this that was uploaded for the public was actually better than this version in my opinion. For some reason the guy who did the 3-D modeling decided to ruin it by changing all of the tubing from round tubing to square tubing in the interest of making it more usable for people with low end computers. I would have rather seen him keep both versions. The original round tube version looked much more authentic and was not particularly hard on computer hardware or frame rates, but for some reason he had issue with it. I'm glad to see that people are still using it, but I eventually ended up hating it because of the way he ruined it. I also originally had the frame painted to look like aluminum tubing and for some reason he decided to paint the tube framing these obnoxious colors. I appreciate that he helped me out but at the same time I think he took enough creative license that he ruined the vision of what I was asking for.

Oh that's a shame. I know today computers would have no issues with it if it still existed in file form. Glad you at least got to see it here converted into flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

@ I still really want one for 2020 or 2024... closest thing we have is the Aerolite 103. But I really love the high dihedral wire-braced character of the quicksilver. For that, I guess we have the Ant's Airplanes Drifter.

are you able to do the FS KBT L-188 Electra from fsx? I tried converting this but engines dont want to run or start. Even loading in on the runway the engines instantly shut down. The startup sound is constantly playing im not sure what is wrong thanks!

Have you tried swapping out the .air file with one form a similar FSX converted prop aircraft that does work? I had to do that with my Lancaster I think after sim update 5. (is this the file you are converting? www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/107/224?language=en-GB)
