So so so appreciate the not overly-processed source samples, especially in presenting. I’ve wasted so much time peeling back “mix-ready” libraries just to find something usable but not great.

Loving this video, I have these same drums since the 80's in the same finish. They are fantastic for sure. Thank you for sharing! I have 8, 10, 12, 13 and 16 inch toms and a 16 x 22 kick.

wow, just wow! man, thi si s competing directly against Toontrack. The realism is incredible. Better than lots of SDX expansions i've heard. You succeed in everything others fail. Toms for example, they always sound fake but yours sound amazing.

Our UI features a mapping page with about 50 presets for electronic drum kits, and you can also create your own custom mapping for any electronic drum set or MIDI controller. That 80’s bell brass snare is absolutely killer! It really captures the essence of that classic sound. I’m curious-are the samples multi-velocity? And are those Robbins as well? The attention to detail here is next-level, and it’s so refreshing to see such authentic gear in action packed into a sample instrument. Love it!

We think the 80s bell brass in this sample kit is pretty rockin’ too! Yes, all instruments and articulations have multiple velocities and round robins. You can even turn the snares off in the UI. For the eKit drummers it’s a pretty convincing experience playing in real time.

Hi!! I just searched "new kontakt drums" on KZbin and ordered results by upload date. That's how I found your videos. Looks like both libraries sound pretty good. The design/GUI/and control layout is MUA (chef's kiss). I own pretty much EVERY VST/KONTAKT DRUM LIBRARY available in the market. I've used and tested many of them ( It would be nearly impossible to check them all out, though). I have plenty of External HDDs filled with loads and loads to TBs of data. And what I've realized after years and years of programming, mixing and mastering that I'm switching back to simpler / more straight forward libraries that are versatile, compact (around 10 to 15 GB max). I'm into Indie/Alternative Rock mostly, and It's a pain in the ass to find a good all-around library that covers that middle ground decently without loads of tweaks. 80% of all available libraries are focused either on heavier stuff (metal) or Classic/nuanced/elistist bigger-than-life stuff. The libraries that have gotten closer to what I would find ideal are things like - GetGood Drums Modern & Massive - Some of the more "mix-ready" Toontrack rock-oriented libraries (EZdrummer 3's Rock Solid, Pop Punk and Signature part 1.- I do own everything SD3, but I just can't stand hassle of library file sizes, loading times, and the complexity and amount of features and options (It's like adding another complete extra DAW to your DAW and thus, double the work. It's not practical) - And my new favourite: Robot Dog Drums. Both your new libraries seem pretty close to what I´m looking for, but I would love to hear more demos or be able to try them before buying. On the other hand, I found the library prices a little high, compared to what the market offers. You might get bigger sales numbers if you "turn the prices down" a notch (and maybe add a bundle offer for the two? If it's not there yet, I haven't checked). Just a suggestion. Business is not my forte, so don't take that to heart. But that was my first impression. BTW, I'm ok with deleting this comment myselft if you see it fit. I just wanted to give you my thoughts. Thanks for reading, and congratulations! I know this was A LOT OF WORK!! EDIT: I just saw the multi-output options, so I edited out everything I wrote related to that. My bad!!

The interface looks great!! Sorry to be that guy... but it`s relevant info: How many velocity layers per "instrument", and how many round robbins for each layer?. Can you control the Hi-Hat with CC for automatic articulations in just one track? Thank you!!

No worries. Our kits have multiple velocity layers (3-4 depending on which instrument/articulation) and multiple round robin (between 6-12 depending on the instrument/articulation) Yes for your high hat question. There are two modes for the high hat CC (available with the cog wheel on the mapping page) which accommodate both methods ekits use to manage the high hat articulations.

The velocity layers also have a carefully crafted engine on top of them for the volume blending, which you can control on the mapping page under the velocity curves controls.
