yeah i agree he's getting up there in age and should prob make an adjustment in regards to that. as far as backing tracks go, they actually can and often do include vocals. a backing track is just what the name implies, a track in the background. it could be synths, strings, guitars, vocals, ect.. now typically you would use a backing track for harmonies, and leave out the lead vocals so you can sing those live. unfortunately nowadays a lot of modern artists will include the lead vocal in their backing tracks, which in my opinion just defeats the purpose of having a live show. as far miming, when it comes to posting songs on social media, it kinda makes sense to mime because you can usually get a better mix that way, and that's actually what most artists do. that's also what guitar players do when posting a solo on social media. if they didn't, you would hear the room noise, you would also hear the picking noises as well. now as far as his live show with ''shout'', i agree he shouldn't have mimed any of that. i actually think he may have sang it live, but then swapped a lot of the vocals out afterwards during the post production process

Personally, I don't believe those are actually his " students." I think they are either paid to be on his platform, or they're using it for exposure, since he has a large subscriber base ( 2+ million ). What's the odds of all your female students being extremely attractive?? Seems a little sus if you ask me. Ken's a scam artist who blatantly lies about being asked to audition for Motley Crue, Journe, and several other top bands . It's sad he's gotten away with it for so long

If he's using backing tracks is just because he CAN'T sing anymore. We'll probably will never know if he could do it in the past (remember that he's been using them since 1989) because even a mute guy can sing with the proper environment, software, etc.

What? He’s absolutely saying Police songs should be sung in late 80s hairband style. Which is what is completely tarded. But Ken thinks every song should be sung that way. And even better if sung exactly HIS way. 🙄 He just doesn’t get it. Plus his impression/recreation of Sting was cartoonish.

You are missing the POINT entirely. The problem with Ken is, he claims he NEVER lip-syncs or mimes the guitar which has clearly been proven. Lying is the problem, not using backing tracks etc. Ken has denigrated some of the best vocalists in history while he hasn't done sshit in the music industry. You don't try to build yourself up by tearing other's down. Period.

yeah i mean he is better off just fessing up and explaining why he does it. lots of singers do it when posting online, it's easier to get better audio quality that way. although you can do it live and still get a pretty decent mix. people forget though, the dude's in his 60's. it's not gonna be as easy for him as it was even just 10 years ago
