Just one more query. Will there be any formula sheet provided in the examination hall for this course or not. One of the seniors said that he got a formula sheet in the examination hall for his course but said it depends on course to course. U might get it or u might not...

sir while calculating fault at bus 2 why we neglect j0.15 , as it doesn't mean that if fault current at bus 1 is restricted , there is chance of flow of extra current in load branch due to fault at bus 2
@sahilgaurav2 ай бұрын
We take assumption in fault analysis is that: "Pre-fault load current are neglected". This assumption leads to neglect the current in j0.15 reactance during faults. In practical scenario, some amount of power will flow through loads during faults.

Please, how about the Losses that will be contributed by the Impedance of the line? Will the entire power generated by the Substation go directly to the load Demand? Won't part of it be consumed by the Impedance as line Losses and the remaining part go to the load?
@sahilgaurav Жыл бұрын
Yes, line losses are directly proportional to the power demand, that also comes through the substation.
