Hi! The fountain pens I used in this video are Benu fountain pens. The blue/white pen is the Goldspot exclusive "Ice and Snow" pen. The purple/blue pen is the Benu Grand Scepter. Benu makes fabulous sparkly pens and I love them all!

I got the One Piece Hobonichi Hon in the A6 size and after watching your video, I deeply regret not getting some of the note pads, stickies, and other accessories.

Oh no! The funny thing is, I deeply regret not getting the One Piece Hon! Hobonichi has a way of offering too many cute options - there are always a few things I wish I had gotten, too. The good thing is, there is always the next release to look forward to! I hope your Hon is bringing a ton of joy 💙

Ooh! This is an excellent idea! I would love a way to store washi in this cover. I've seen the King Jim Kitta washi folders before - something like that would be great, but with longer strips. I will need to test this out. Thank you for the suggestion, and thanks for watching 💙✨️

Dont know if this is a controversial opinion but I much prefer the back of the cover to the front. I love the idea of a rooftop piano in the city. I don’t find the notebook grid colour change jarring at all - I barely notice it. I agree with the other comment - you have a lovely radio/audio book voice.

Do you write your drafts by hand, or will your journal be for idea gathering only?

@@InkwellandOak I also get sucked into the black hole of the internet when I write on my computer (KZbin sometimes, but mostly when I have the urgent need to look something up right away and it can't wait... but it really CAN wait haha)! I like having my notebook as a place to write when I'm stuck, or when I need to unplug completely 😂

I got told my order would not ship until the end of December, I ordered the Sunny log book in A5 and the Hon version of the One Piece techo. The yellow A6 cover. Just strange, it was so late of a shipping date.

This is a beautiful use for your A5 Hobonichi! I love how you set up your kit. I also use the combination of the Black & Clear Blue cover with the Lights in the Distance Cover-on-Cover, except I use the A6 size. My planned use for this combination is for my spiritual journal for 2024. I just liked the combination of that cover and the coc for spiritual purposes, especially since the black background looks like the night sky. ☺

Thank you! I do plan to keep using the A6 dog cover without the plastic cover-on-cover. I tested it out and it does fit (snugly) but I love the feel of the fabric so much on its own and would prefer to use the A6 without the COC! I will probably use the protective cover when I take the A6 journal on extended trips - I am too prone to spilling things and don't want to ruin the beautiful fabric!

We got a few of the same things 😃 Luckily they restocked the "Dog" cover in October. I was able to order one and am looking forward seeing it the most. I will probably only put a COC if I need to travel with it like you mentioned in your other video! Thank you for sharing your hauls!

Yes! The Aurora Duty was one of my favorite new designs for last year, and I promptly sought out the notepad and the weeks in the 2023 lineup. When I saw they were using the Aurora Duty art for pouches, I couldn't resist! They are so sweet. I hope you get one of the Aurora Duty pouches, too! They definitely bring joy :)

Thank you so much! I love using the A5 as a letter-writing case. It is easy to transport, and the little pockets are perfect for holding stickers and such to put on the envelopes. This way I'm not searching for stamps, etc! And I'm looking forward to loading up the Stappo bag - it seems like the perfect size to carry around :)
