Funny enough I was thinking about painting a black van in olive green. And even though I got some experience painting buildings in and out, I was thinking about some automotive specialized shop. You've changed my prospective on the subject. I saw the 'Home Depot' stirring stick, however what kind of paint you're using? Would be great if you see this comment🙂 Anyways congrats on your build🤙🏼👊🏼👏🏼 You seem happy, in love with it and that's all that matters❤

How fun! Clearly you listened to her priority list and made it happen. It’s great that it’s stealth, easy, breezy, cat friendly, and spacious! Congrats on another great build. ❤

This would be a good setup for someone with a cat who still wanted to sleep in it in cities. As a weekend getaway camper it works well. Because of how quickly it could become lethal to a pet it wouldn't work for summers if someone worked day shift. Night shift would work. Remote work would work. Working days fall, winter and spring could work. If her and her cat are trying to live in it they would want a heating option, most likely a diesel heater (maybe room for a tank on a swing away tire rack). Bluetti just came out with their alternator Charger 1 which provides 560 watts of power and is built to plug in to power stations which would give her the ability to cook dinner, watch a movie and top off her battery on a cloudy day. That would be a substantial upgrade over the 120 watts coming out of a standard 12 volt barrel plug. For the financially bottom 25% living in vehicles is the future.

Thanks for sharing this build! There are so many more options now. One advantage for a Toyota Sienna is that it can easily fit under a car port, a garage or a regular parking spot with no problems.

Nice work. I love the craftsmanship. Only drawback I see is the sheer weight of all that 3/4 plywood. Have you weighed the van to check your gross vehicle weight and do you think you could have done the build in 1/2 inch.

So glad to FINALLY SEE someone trim plywood edges. Bravo.

Thank you for your review. I am researching and comparing toilets for my van/tiny house. Having used a chemical camping toilet for a while and not liking the amount of water used and the heavy lifting to empty it. Good review - excellent questions.

Yeah, I'll never understand why composting toilet makers use boxy solid waste bins. OGO really got it right with their cylindrical container and paint mixer-like agitator. If someone made a completely manual version of that, I'd be sold.

Disappointing! You work yer butt off for months and thousands of $$ then you don't give an actual walk-thru of your work!?!? Haha how ridiculous! Why would you fast forward the walk thru? I watched your vid tgen find a racing walk thru of the finished job, no vhance to admire all your greqt work!, Seriously, just a stupid decision to rush the final tour!
