Doesn't hold against strong wind. Not using after second one broke. First one ripped through oval mirror by wind, bought another, the middle harness at the bottom broke loose from stitches and it flew away.

This helmet has been discontinued for quite some time now without a successor. Do you know if any other Shark helmets have the same large viewport/visor?
@Hunterx777x6 ай бұрын
Did you find anything in the end? I still have my Vision-r and I am wondering if there is a suitable replacement for it with same large visor
@henryslager94066 ай бұрын
@@Hunterx777x I got a Nolan N70-2 GT. Even larger visor. It’s modular instead of full face but you can use it as a full face.

Don't waste your $, Mine only lasted a few months outdoors in NZ. Thinned, cracked and tore all over from the weather. I thought Oxford was an OK brand so don't know why they are selling this garbage. I'm trying an Rjays cover instead which looks alot better and is around the same price.

These are absolutely useless on the motorway at speed , warning ⚠️ they will push down on the clutch lever with so much force your fingers won’t be able to stop it and you’ll have to pull over. Do not put these on your bike unless it’s a moped and you’re delivering pizzas at 30 mph. Trust me you will be taking them straight off your bike after one ride on the motorway 😢
@MrWaynetolson Жыл бұрын
Correct at 70 mph pushed my front brake lever on not enough to stop the bike but keep pads in contact with the disk with obvious results. I have never used them since.

Brother, My SMK Gullwing came with Pinlock-30 pre-installed. Can I buy & install pinlock-70 or pinlock-120 film in it? Are there any size constrains in the different pinlock films? Or they fit universally in any pinlock visor?

I have that colour scheme! A few of the police forces in Toronto Ontario Canada, have those. First time I saw it was the police motorcycles and had to have one, has a certain look with the chin all the up. It does fit one size bigger, so order one size smaller. I normally wear medium in HJC and Scorpion but small in this one.

This company is an utter disgrace & I have no idea how they are even still allowed to operate. Completely shocked that Bennett’s insurance have any association with such an underhand company.
@TheRozzers Жыл бұрын
I’ve come to this video because they are trying to take my bike from a police compound after a non fault collision. It’s a 1970s classic BMW which is certainly well-repairable. They want to collect my airhead from the Isle of Wight where it lives and take it to their storage compound near London just so it can be assessed. I’ve told them I want to take it from the police compound (when it is released) and store in my lock-up where it can be assessed and kept without incurring storage fees - they insist they can’t allow it and they must take it to their compound instead. Looking at reviews online, about 60% are less than favourable and point towards excessive storage fees being charged along with massively undervaluing the vehicle and writing-off needlessly. Many people have said that they have never seen their vehicle again once it’s been collected by them so I’m reluctant to allow it. There are even some reviews stating their actual vehicle was found listed on eBay before the claim was even settled.. I have a bad feeling about it.

@@TheRozzers i genuinely feel sorry for you. I think the chances of you seeing your bike again is slim & non. I was fortunate enough not to give them my bike. They reply on extortionate storage, handling & hire back charges to make their money. I ended up paying £3,500 to fix the bike off my own back then chased for a year to get money back through Bennett’s, both are an absolute disgrace of a company. So sorry to hear about your bike, I also own an old airhead. Good luck, however I think that’ll be the end of your bike.

I also had a terrible experience with these people, I was involved in an RTA no fault of my own they took the bike away they had it for nearly 6 months. They tried to write it off. I argued that it was salvageable it seems, but all they were concerned about were trying to get as much money out of the other persons insurance company as possible. When the bike was returned to me there was still a scratch down the tank. The front calipers were binding and corroded. The bike was poorly repaired I would never let these people anywhere near my motorcycles ever again
@mook16v9 ай бұрын
@@seanbishop5887 sorry to hear that, I was lucky enough to find out about this company before they took my bike & I refused to let them collect it. They then refused to payout anything resulting in me having to pay the £3,500 repair bill out of my own pocket. I fought them for over a year having to go through the financial ombudsman & eventually got some of my money back. I’ve written to Ride Magazine to hopefully get people talking about this, it pretty bad though and a lot of people have been hit financially through no fault of their own. All the best with your bike 👍🏼

1. This is not a review, this is basically an ad/overview. 2. I live in Australia, keep my bike outdoors but undercover so it doesn't get affected by direct sunlight and rain. After a couple of years (<4) the red fleece lining began coming off, it basically covers my bike red which is shit. It is also a little ironic as I use a cover to protect my bike from getting dirty, and the cover itself is what makes my bike dirty...go figure... The material has also torn in some parts (mainly the silver parts). It's a good cover, but you will probably have to replace it every 5 or so years.

My Box Helmet HAS a Pin lock system and a drop down visor, which is tinted and sits inside the helmet lining. I get 2 visors for the price! Not a bad helmet by all standards. The sun visor is dropped down by pushing a lever on the left hand side.

I especially like the grinding / cutting mode and the off mode⛑️ **allabout.wiki/Matt** Be sure to turn it back to welding mode before striking an arc, or else - flash burn. . .The only down side is the head band. Is is cheap, but I understand standard head bands will fit, so I will probably upgrade the head band.I had an old self darkening hood that worked, but I thought I was going blind because I could not see the puddle.*
