Rounaq sir is that fine to take SWP from this category fund
@PFNonlineКүн бұрын
SWP is the option offered by the fund house to redeem in a piecemeal manner systematically from the scheme. SWP should ideally opted when a significant corpus/wealth is already created and the money is need to meet certain expenses or envisioned goals. Before you opt for the SWP, to build wealth you could make staggered lump sum investments in Multi Asset Allocation Funds or even better is to invest systematically over a period of time through the SIP route.

Liquid funds that invest largely in T-bills and other short-term government debt papers can be considered better than those having high exposure to private issuers.

Where are the best funds as subject of the video...u have only explained various categories of fund which anyways exist
@PFNonline8 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The video is designed to provide an overall view of the best mutual fund categories to help investors understand where to start. Simply listing a few schemes is not an ideal approach, as mutual fund selection requires careful analysis based on individual financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon. For more specific insights, we have detailed articles that compare mutual fund schemes across categories. You may find them helpful in analyzing and selecting funds that align with your investment strategy. Isnt Parag Parigh Conservative hybrid better than these
@PFNonline8 күн бұрын
Parag Parikh Conservative Hybrid Fund is debt-oriented hybrid fund, not a multi asset allocation fund. It has the mandate to invest 75% to 90% of its assets in debt & money market securities, 10% to 25% in equities, and up to 10% in REIT & InVITs. Currently, as per its portfolio as of Dec 2024, the Scheme is having 77.2% exposure to debt & money market, 13.0% in domestic equities, 7.2% in REITs & InVITs, 0.8% in other securities, and the rest is in cash & cash equivalents. So, it cannot be compared with any of the schemes in the Multi Asset Allocation Fund category, which dynamically shifts between asset classes depending on their outlook.
@PIXEL000008 күн бұрын
@@PFNonline I know, but u weren't comparing Multi-Asset, You were comparing Debt funds
@PFNonline8 күн бұрын
The comparison done is of Multi Asset Allocation Funds, as per the regulator's definition. Some of the schemes in our article, are currently having higher allocation to debt-oriented securities but that does not make them comparable to Conservative Hybrid Funds. This because Multi Asset Asset Allocation have a dynamic asset allocation mandate. In other words they have flexibility to move to other asset classes. On the other hand, Conservative Hybrid Funds are at all times expected to skew their portfolio to debt & money market securities.

What about Motilal oswal multicap mf? New? So what?
@PFNonline6 күн бұрын
Motilal Oswal Multi Cap Fund is a relatively new scheme having been launched less than a year ago, and is yet to build a reliable track record. In this video we have only considered schemes with long-term performance track record. It is important to note that investing in newly launched schemes can be risky due to lack of crucial information such as portfolio quality, track record of performance across market phases, risk-reward parameters, etc. Hope this helps!

This is the best video I've watched so far on this topic! I'm trying to build a fund to park savings for expenses that I will incur in about 2 years from now. But I also need some degree of liquidity. Planning to invest ₹15,000 per month in a liquid fund for 2 years. Simultaneously I want to start a Recurring Deposit of ₹15,000 per month for 2 years. Is it a good plan to keep cash equivalent savings with liquidity and partially reduced risk? Or is it better to invest all of it in a liquid fund?
@PFNonline8 күн бұрын
For you expenses 2 year from now, you may consider some of the Liquid Fund and do a monthly RD. With these two avenues, you could reduce reduce risk and ensure liquidity.

How much time does it take to withdraw money from liquid fund ?
@PFNonlineАй бұрын
@shubham-q9w3e Units of Liquid Funds can be redeemed on a T+1 basis. The redemption value/withdrawn amount is disbursed to the linked savings bank account of the investor on a working day following the day of the valid redemption request. In some cases, the insta-redemption facility is also available. Keep in mind that there isn't any exit load applicable for units held in a Liquid Fund or for 7 days or longer.

I guess you are unaware. There is a more easier way. MF Central😊😊😊 it’s an initiative by SEBI. They instructed Cams and Kfintech to create a common platform. Not only for viewing but taking all actions like buying/selling changing bank account/consolidating portfolios/adding nominee and many more
@PFNonlineАй бұрын
I appreciate your feedback! MF Central is a handy tool for tracking all your mutual fund holdings. However, given its relatively new status, it may not be widely recommended yet. While it offers convenience in managing investments in one place, investors might still find more comprehensive features, personalized advice, and a broader range of research tools on the existing established platforms. As MF Central evolves and expands its offerings, it could become a more integral part of an investor’s toolkit in the future
