Did he mean to do that or was he just readjusting the nest? It almost looked accidental. Poor Iris can't catch a break in her domestic life.

Yes, that was Dad and he came back to the nest in fine shape.

Yes, Mom did come back and she stayed close to her babies for quite awhile.

Isn't it dangerous for a bird's nest to be over a highway? Baby birds will eventually fly. What if they land in the highway?

They do fine at this nest. They don't land on the ground because of the danger. They naturally look for high perches to land on.

She did not attack eaglet...she warned him away because she wanted to eat...Get your info straight instead of sensationalizing !

same thing. They are little and she has no bond with them. She could easily hurt them or kill them. That's one of the reasons M attacked her. To protect his eaglets.

She did. First she pecked and slapped at E22 and then when E21 went over to get some she pecked at his back. The eaglets were upset and cowering.

I watched it live. All she wanted was the fish. You no she is the 1 who killed Harriet that how she got those injuries. Now she’s here 4 her prize which is M15😩

I don't trust that female that spends the night. She has her eyes on the chicks. Females usually kill the chicks.

wow, sad… One chick got carried off at the Osoyoos 🇨🇦 nest last week, when mom flew off with some baling twine caught up in her talons. :(

One of the chicks died in the fall and the other was taken to a rehab facility.

I reached out to one of the Rangers in the county. Unfortunately one perished and the other baby is at a Raptor Rehabilitation Center.

It looks like there were three. I'm surprised only one of them perished. If there were three, the other probably became take-out lunch for a predator. Poor mama :(

It takes a strong person to watch Osprey cam videos as they can be very dramatic as sometimes can Bald Eagle cams, but Osprey cams are a tough go to watch.
