Hey Chris! what propeller drive did you use? I am going to upgrade my impulse so i can have the reverse function. I see you used the Impulse 120 Propeller Pod but which propeller system did you connect to it? Thanks again man! The channel is doing great things keep it up

Thanks Man. Its the prop drive that used to come with the Impulse 120. I say use to because they stopped selling the prop drive for the Impulse 120. But if you call Hoodoo (talk to Holly tell her you talk to me) and she maybe able to hook you up with the prop drive.

Mr Chris, me and my wife are looking to come down in late April or may to kayak fish murrells inlet. We were wondering where we could get a map of murrells inlet.

This is a question I have never been asked. If you’re asking about a paper map I’m not sure where you get one. I’m sure they’re out there. I use google earth or google maps. Sorry about that. If I run across them I’ll message you back.

Hi, i also caught a 14''black drum on the bottom along with great fishing on 12-17 and 18th in deep water. To my surprice 8 reds 20'' to 23.5 '' i do not keep any fish.For me it's a great sport. Your videos have taught me and are very enjoyable. I know it take a lot of time and work to put a video thanks. Bruce

Chris, what I love about your videos is your obvious love for the sport of fishing and the fact that, like the rest of us, you have your good and your not so good days, which you share along with information you feel might help others. Sorry I missed this one, but, as always, I appreciate the helpful tips. As you noted, wearing a floatation device is always advised and when it's colder, wear a hat and dress in layers with a synthetic base layer covered by insulating layers. That dry bag you guys spoke about with a change of clothes and thermal blanket should be a "must have" onboard. Keep in mind that even on those warm spring days when we're most eager to get out, the water can still be dangerously cold. Wishing you and all of DCO Nation a joyous Christmas and a safe 2025 with tight lines and PBs.

Got to love the trolls! It always surprises me that people take the time to write something negative! Instead of lifting someone up always trying to tear them down! I was out Wednesday got to close to Mouth Murrells inlet by the Jettie.... big mistake it got real rough, i kissed my gear goodbye and zipped up my life jacket all the way lol and held on, made it out wont do that again. Got skunked trying learn area, was really foggy, will try again after holidays, was throwing Livetarget Shrimp hard lure, and small white EliasVFishing Inshore Mackinaw Shad 3/8 Oz..... some mistakes were made but still had an awesome time talked to a couple people oyster landing that were killing it, water tempters were around 55, am study your video's little better.

Knee replacement scheduled for mid January so I can get back down when the water starts to warm. In the meantime, I'll satisfy my addiction by tagging along. @@DeadCalmOutdoors Chris, I have a couple of 7+ medium power fast action rods that I love, for tossing lures like paddletails and shrimp lures, but have been eying a 7+ medium heavy with medium fast tip for a little heavier lures and pulling bass out of cover, reds out of the grass, or fighting lake stripers. Would appreciate your opinion on this when you have the time.

Thanks for answering my question about the Fg knot. I agree it is somewhat hard to tie (find video where you tie braid end on reel handle and start knot from there). I run a very long leader. I will try your knot, especially when on the water. THANKS again

Love the way you video so we can see how you work the rod on the various lures, plus your explanation of what and why on the bait you're choosing. I'm looking for some tips on clothing for winter fishing if you have any to share.

Thanks John. Yea my best advice is layer. It’s starts out cold and then usually warms up. The best piece of equipment to invest in is a good pair of boots. I love the NRS Boundary boots. Check them out. You don’t want cold wet feet. 🤙
