The problem with this is that you have to remove the license before using on another computer. If you forget you are screwed. So you pay $100 for a license but you cannot control when and where you uses it.

The difference between an informative video and a bullshit video is how long it takes me to watch. If it takes me 4 hours to watch a 1 hour video, its because I'm constantly either stopping or replaying segments in order to take notes. Bullshit videos don't require my active participation. I'll be honest. I was looking for a solution for my clients to allow them to back up to their Backblaze B2 and this was a perfect way of doing it using MSP360 Standalone Backup, the price was great, that is, until I saw it was an annual subscription. While I don't mind paying for software, a one-and-done approach is better, considering that along with the annual subscription, you've got to pay for the storage used to Backblaze. I did look at the managed backup for MSPs, which I own an MSP company, but the cost per seat annually is the same price I pay for another service that also provides storage of up to 2TB per seat and it has rebranding as well.

What if the ransomeware has been sitting idle in the environment for over a year, and your retention period for backups is under a year? Immutability only will not save you then. You will just copy the ransomeware back with your backup.
