2 years would be too long to keep them in that tank in 2 years they can be like at least 12 to 18 inches long

This aquascape is perfect! I always love when tanks stay away from high blues. Ultra neon colored corals and a black light effect makes everything look even further away from a natural environment.

Hey man what happened to your 3 Chromis and the Bangaii Cardinalfish?
@madlos123Ай бұрын
@@AbsoluteZero6714 they all died. The original chromis died due to a bacterial disease probably uronema when I added the new chromis, they all went blind and stopped eating. The 3 that survived was still partially blind and slowly died off due to not getting enough food. The Bangaii Cardinal fish died probably from malnutrition. Ever since I moved to my own house, i couldn't feed the tank frozen every day anymore since this tank is at my parents and the Bangaii refused to eat pellets or flakes. Then one day it just disappeared.
@AbsoluteZero6714Ай бұрын
@@madlos123I’m sorry to hear that. Do you plan to add any more fish to this tank, or leave it as it is until they start dying of old age? Was your Bangaii captive bred? Yeah Chromis can suck when it comes to their susceptibility to uronema. Seems to be a major issue.
@madlos123Ай бұрын
@@AbsoluteZero6714 maybe in the future and i will go through like Dr.Reef for quarantined fish. I dont think it was captive bred.

Beautiful job! For a diy project this came out great! I have a few questions. How tall is the cabinet the tank will be sitting on? How tall is the glass segment and how tall is the canopy? I’m curious about the viewing height as it is something I am going back and forth with right now on my tank stand build. Thanks!
@madlos1236 ай бұрын
@@Hello.Newman thanks. Its 40 inch tall for the cabinet, the aquarium/glass is 24 inch tall (90 gallon), canopy is 12 inch tall. Im 5'4" and the viewing is great as my eye level is about on the middle of the aquarium, yet my view is not too distorted as my view is centered compared to looking downward on a lower height stand. If i have to view from the top i would need a step ladder and my eshopps coral viewer or similar.
@madlos1236 ай бұрын
@@Hello.Newman plus more headroom in the sump which is nice to work in the sump and equipment maintenance. If the height of the cabinet is shorter, i wouldnt be able to use flex pvc. Cons is you will need a step ladder to do anything in the tank if you go 90 gallon

Had the same problem with the same Avast marine stirrer. Shoddy manufacturing/gluing. They sold me a replacement container for a reduced amount since it was out of warranty. Still should've replaced for free since it was clearly a manufacturing defect.

I bought the DIY Kit so i was the one who assembled it. Something Similar that happened to my smaller older k1, which never leaked before yet it started leaking after i started using it again. Im guessing the glue just weakened and cracked after it sat dry and from moving it.
