Just discovered you ladies. I liked this song and will be exploring more. You're the third band of sisters I've been introduced to in the last 5 months, the other two being The Warning and Larkin Poe. It's so good to see bands like yours getting the attention they deserve. Looking forward to more. MB

The lyrics of the song, for everyone who wants to read them: Don't force your story on me. Not gonna be who you want me to be. I may, fortunately. Don't put your boring on me. Rest in peace. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. I'm not your circus freak. Your covers make me sleep. Don't bury me in clichés. Don't put your narrative on me. Rest in peace. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Let it sleep. Rest in peace. Don't want your smile. Gimme... What's done is done. Let it sleep. Rest in peace. Let it sleep. What's done is done. Let it sleep. Rest in peace. Let it sleep.

I don't like the way he sometimes spits out his consonants and does them on random higher notes, esp. towards the end of this piece, but he does have a very impressive BIG tenor voice. I hope he goes far and gets true international exposure.

I saw Mr. Thomas as Cavaradossi in two performances in Los Angeles in 2017. At both performances, after “E lucevan le Stelle,” the audience was so stunned by the power and intensity (and beauty, needless to say) of his singing, that there was no applause after the aria.

This is a thrilling account of this aria. I do not think this is the sound of a Wagnerian tenor. Mr. Thomas' sound is very Italianate here, with great sweeping romantic line. The fact that he sings with color and depth does not make him a heldentenor. His voice is not larger than many of the great lyrico spintos in opera history. To be honest, I think his voice sounds best in this repertoire, rather than in heavier Verdi where he seems to struggle with some of the lower tones (being a great Verdian means singing ALL the notes well!). Anyone who thinks this voice is equal in size to that of the great dramatic tenor Jon Vickers is mistaken. Jon Vickers voice was absolutely massive in the theater in ways that Mr. Thomas cannot yet even approach. It would be foolish for Mr. Thomas to attempt to move in that direction too soon. He could spend many years making lots of money in this repertoire. If he moves to swiftly to heavy repertoire, he will likely shorten his career as his voice is not ready for that test.

I love how you make the analysis of my sound in some ways I agree with you. I’m interested in knowing what you’ve heard me sing in the theatre? I’m also interested in who you think is a great Verdi tenor that sings all the notes great? I sing in a way that’s healthy. This is why my voice hasn’t blown out. This is why I haven’t had to cancel performances or take months down. The heaviest thing I’ve sung is Otello which I can sing but it’s not the best role for my voice. Don Alvaro, Manrico, and Radames are ideal. However, I will sing some Wagnerian roles and would love for you to be present so you can give more in depth criticism of my voice. I’ve been singing professionally since I was 22. I’m now 43. Since 2006 I’ve held a full schedule of 25-50 performances each year. I haven’t lost anything on the top or the bottom. The voice still sounds fresh. I’m sure I will be fine.

Sir - very happy to hear that. I came across your clips recently, with SF Opera advertising Ernani. Would love to hear you in house, hope the virus situation clears by then. My only concern was that such “open” singing could endanger one’s voice, but from your comment, you seem to be on top of that. Such clear and engaging singing is rare now on big stage, thanks and take good care of yourself.

Frankly speaking, Jon Vickers' voice was not particularly beautiful although massive and remarkable in terms of interpretation. Mr. Russel Thomas' rendering of Cavaradossi's aria is superb and I wish he will be able to come to sing in Italy as soon as we hopefully go back to mormality.
