Robert Sweet faces in the direction of stage left or right while playing, so that the audience can see him and not have their view of him obscured by his drumkit. Nothing to do with stage freight or fear of audiences. Been following Stryper since the “Yellow and Black Attack”

I used to have dinner with these guys at Mr. Owasa's sushi restaurant. They lived down the street from it. They thrashed their Buena Park home when young. I was their mailman when they lived in La Mirada. My brother even picked up Robert when he was hitch hiking on the road to get home and he mentioned he wanted to be a rocker. My Brother owned a recording studio. These guys are funny as jokers as most are.

The best part of this is that you know everything you're hearing is coming from the four guys on stage. No backing tracks, no piped in vocals, just pure musicianship and talent.

He has always had stage fright and been afraid of crowds. That's why his drums are faced to the side of the stage. He hardly ever looks at the crowd and stays focused on looking at the drums.

Wow, they changed it up! They played Free first then into Calling On You. Usually it's been the opposite! Very nice! They sound amazing and better than ever!
