Cool! On the random chance the museum has a plan for another show to collaborate with the next Springfield Steampunk festival in 2017, I might suggest the idea to feature a show about machines used for looms and weaving, to produce thread and cloth ... including creative inventions, appropriate for the machine's cloth theme, maybe incorporating a design that kids/adults could interact with, or maybe the design exaggerates features for special effect(s), or a display could be a small keep-it-simple design a person could build at home, for a determined builder/maker, to nurture the cloth aspect of the Steampunk world, rather than just gears and levers for a clock/robot, but gears and levers for cloth making, its patterns, shapes, etc.

Great ideas, jellogum! I will pass your thoughts along to our Art Museum and Programming departments. There are no current plans to do another Steampunk show but we definitely haven't ruled the idea out. Thanks again!
