I got a pump from AutoZone and the seal was missing. I never thought to check. I couldn't get the system bled because it was constantly sucking air.

It's the o ring. Hot and cold, hot and cold, eventually will crack the o ring. Honda/Acra PS pumps are very hard to break...check the hoses and seals before replacing.

Thanks for this. I'm in the middle of changing out my alternator on my 97, and once I had it taken out I saw how severely leaking the power steering pump was. I briefly considered doing that at the same time but I don't have the gumption at this point. Now that I know how to take the alternator out, I'll have an easier time of it at a future date.

I’m having this issue right now where my ac stopped blowing cold air. I tried to add Freon to it but the meter on the Freon says see instructions. What my dad told me was to check the ac fuse box see it that’s working. Check the compressor (which I’m confused on because isn’t the compressor the A/C? ) I need help lol.
