I guess I can also use it for desktop monitor(?) I have pretty tight budget for PC so I decided to buy the monitor a bit later after I build my PC. And yeah I have a dead gaming laptop and I want to take the monitor. Should I do it?

I have tried this with an extra Logitech receiver I had lying around. I'm probably horrible at soldering, so while I did manage to make the connections, it's not working. I suppose I fried the components (used a 30W soldering iron, and each connection took more time than I wanted); I measure 0.5V between ground and power on the receiver PCB, which I guess should be 5V.

I genuinely couldn't hear a difference between the 3K mic and the DIY mic. If the premium microphone is better... for all practical purposes it's not that noticeable.

aircraft 1/2" QD fittings, heat rises, too many amps on the heat exchanger this way. copper heat sinks would be better. I have my PS5 hang behind my tv as well, not sure if I need to look at a console unless it has a disc.

Your out of date and oversized air pump needs help. Computer fans can keep the entire thing under stress at 30* C. Your entire system is throttling. HARD.
@Thesupperals
@Thesupperals Күн бұрын
The comparison you made to a fan is unfortunate because what you have made is an Air Pump. In fact, it is a 2 way air pump with 2 outputs rather than 1 output. You can improve your build by changing the middle moving piece by allowing for a plunger like rubber to change shape depending on position, just like with any 2 way pump. Also... a 2 way stepper motor was also an option.

Did anyone think about this? You produce heat, where does it go, who cools it, how this environment cooling it. did anyone know about it. Such higher computation powered computer is good, but no one thinks about increasing global temperature.

While I think the construction is cool, calling it the ps5 slim is hardly accurate when you have a massive water coolant system attached to it.

I wonder what capacity battery would be required for a ps5 to run for a solid 5-6 hours(to make it a bit easier it could be restricted to 1080p 60hz)

Cool project. I hate my ps5. What a hype beast and extremely limited good games. The worst part is the INPUT LAG/MISSED INPUT. I can barely play Ms.Pac Man. The PS5 is defective overhyped garbage. I built a new PC shortly after wasting my money on the ps5.

Man I love your videos! Since discovering your channel back when you posted the wood & rope PC some 6 years ago, I've always been impressed and wow'ed by your ideas and detailed level of execution of those ideas! Thanks for this too! EDIT: And yes, I would definitely buy this instead of the clumsy looking "weird hat design" original PlayStation 5 (the Slim is the same weird hat design, just slimmer).

Idea: What if instead of using a back-light for this TV, You use the Sunlight itself through some form of Mirrors and reflections? - This means the TV should in theory be as bright as the Sun on a hot day (meaning that the TV will always be visible on a hot day). - Maybe have some form of back-light that can allow sunlight to pass through it (like have the backlight on a cage, so the natural sunlight can pass through the back-light). This means that on a hot, bright day, the sun will be doing the heavy lifting and you can save some electricity, while on a dull day, the backlight will do the work but won't have to be as bright thus still saving some power costs.
