if you rotate the 2nd lcd, is there an angle that reallows light? there are some weird paradoxes (probably not the right term) with polarization filters. And I think at 30 or 45 or 90deg is will clear up again. Making you not need the parchment layer. But now the trouble is dimensions and potentially even software to accommodate the split + 90 hdmi signal
