I've seen people put substances, like grease, sealant or Tef-Gel, into the socket so that it fill al the all between strands and inner terminal. Is this advisable? If not, what about crevice corrosion because of sea water entering the Sta-Lok terminal from above? Also, other talk about using Loctite; is that needed at all?
