Harley used to doo dome odd things back in 78 my rear sprocket and chain and the brakes is all on the right hand side factory

Well that's a valid opinion..... BHP is just a calculation of RPM and torque and cannot actually be measured. Torque can be measured and that is the thing that you use to drive any vehicle..... but in order to get a high BHP calculation either the RPM or the torque has to be high.... and as we use torque to actually drive and not RPM (which would be very noisey) - that is for racing or bragging - you are right..... exceptfor the fact that high torque goes along with high BHP.... at least as far as Harleys are concerned.
