I agree that I LOVED Rhys in the first 3 books and once I read ACOSF, I hated him so much. For me, I think it was the fact that we're seeing him from someone outside of the inner circle and exposed his flaws.

On your point about the Blood Rite, Briallyn (while wearing the crown) did appear and admitted that she tampered with Blood Rite to drain her so she could get the other items of the Dread Trove. Only God knows what would have happened if they participated in the Blood Rite without external interference from the mortal queen. Also it does say that Nesta noticed their eyes during the Blood Rite and knew this was a ruse.

Watching this now, I feel like you missed A LOT on your first read of this book. A LOT. For instance, other ABSOLUTELY sensed that Nesta & Cassian were mates. Azriel even told him he's in big trouble with that one. Also, The Mother made sure Nesta was left with some power in the end so, she didn't lose all of her power when she saved Feyre, Rhysand and their baby - which, by the way, totally aligns with who she is. Through all of her toughness, Nesta is very sensitive and a protector and that is her family.

I, for one, still love the books. Keep on writing Sarah. And keep on letting Rhys being Rhys. ❤

I laughed when Feyre told Nesta they were evicting her from their building to make it into a home for those displaced by the war. Guess who was also displaced by the war-Nesta!!! The other hilarious irony is how Tamlin is denigrated for locking up Feyre to protect her, but when the inner circle locked up Nesta, they were positively self-righteous about it. They literally forced Nesta to change her behavior to something they found more acceptable. It was very Taming of the Shrew. No more casual sex, Nesta. That's only OK for literally everyone in the Night Court, but not you. However, feel free to Stockholm Syndrome it up with Cassian. Eye roll.

Also someone please explain in depth what Tamlin did wrong that was worthy enough to have all of the spring court destroyed. Tamlin treated Feyre just like Rhys did and they had the same motives when it came to Feyre.

I just finished ACOWAR and wow I'm disappointed in everything I hear about ACOSF to the point where I think I'll shelve the series unless book 6 magically fixes everything. As someone who hit rock bottom, I hoped for a good, poignant tale about mental health and healing even though constant smut was not my jam... but man this romance sounds absolutely abysmal. All I read is that Cassian does nothing but teaches her combat, bangs her constantly, and fails to defend her from the IC whenever they go for her neck. I'm desperately looking for examples of him being a genuinely loving man towards her like he was in ACOWAR, not just a sexual outlet that gives her a pep talk every now and then. I jumped into ACOTAR for hot, passionate romance, not a boring FWB plot that leads to the most underwhelming confession I've ever seen.

Nesta is the character I least like in this series just base on the first book. I don’t know if I’ll change my opinion about her. I don’t think this video will change my mind about Nesta. I just don’t like how the author created her character.

at minute 31 - Cassian couldn't stand up to Rhysand bc... mind contol. Rhysand is a mind controlling creep. So even if Cassian actually *could* stand up to Rhys, he and all the IC are afraid to even THINK bad thoughts about Rhys. Why do you think they defend him so hard? Imagine Rhys sitting in their minds judging every thought they have about him for 500 years. They learned how to not even think bad of him.

Tamlin locked Feyre in a house while he was secretly looking for a way to save her (trying to find a way to break the bargain). Tamlin = Evil. Rhysand locked Feyre in a magical shield skin while he was secretly looking for a way to save her (trying to find a way to have her deliver a live heir) Rhysand = Good male. I've almost completed ACOTAR and really wished to continue the series, BUT after hearing how much SJM is ruining some parts in the next books, "killing" characters just to make space for others simply to satisfy the story, without any point or deeper motive, I've decided to step down from it. Not just ACOTAR, but ToG as well. I deeply hate sudden changes just to create twists that are actually not needed in any sense. So... Thank you reviewers for saving my nerves and hours that I'll glad spending on other books. ^_^

I had to stop reading when i got to the point qhere Nesta reveals that Rhys and the cohort were hiding medical info from Feyre and magic info from Nesta and the book made it seem like SHE was in the wrong. 😅

And you saying no-one understands Nesta PTSD is so wrong, everyone understands that's she need sometime alone thats why they left her alone but when everyone realised that she isn't getting any better thats when they decide to intervene and thats helps her isn't?? 6.I'm guessing you didn't read A court of Frost and starlight,because there's your answer of why no one bring gift of Nesta on Winter solace. 7.Even in Court of silver flames,She is all about Team,either you're in her team or you're in Feyre.When she saw Elain and Amren taking side of Feyre,She replaced them with Gwyn and Emries. I didn't understand what Feyre did to deserve so much hate from Nesta. 8.Try to put yourself in Feyre shoes for once, imagine your elder sister being bias towards you when you did nothing wrong but feed her ,everyday for 2 years and help her in return to get only hate from her and toxic words again and again. There are so many reasons to hate her,but I do agree with you on one point that Elain deserve to be equally hated,i don't understand why some people hate Nesta but not Elain.Just because she buys Feyre some paint doesn't make her a saint.

To the point Azriel and Elaine. I personally think they can't be a couple. Because Elaine has a beautiful mate and she hurt him so much. I don't say Lucien and Elaine can't be friends as mates. They can definitely. But I think Azriel need someone who is on the same "level" as him. Elaine is so soft and little bit weak, so she doesn't fit with Azriel. I think he need someone who can be stronger then him at some point, so he can show is weakness and open him and don't be everytime the strong men. I read fan theories and their is one which says that Azriel and Eris end up. Hold on, I know you all thinking. But listen at first. In this theorie it says that Eris didn't help Mor because he knew she was gay. And if he bring her to his court, she will have to stay there with him and have to follow the rules from his dad. But he knows how it can be as a gay person in his court, so he don't like to hurt her and leave but knowing Azriel will come and find Mor before she could die. And Rhys trust him because of the mate bond between them( in ACOSF). This theorie scream for dramatic scenes!!! But it just one theorie of many. Gwyn and Azriel could be also together(ACOSF)... (Sorry for my bad English)

She cares about Elain, because of the actions of their mother. Feyre wasn't even recognized by their mother, but the pretty "Doll" Elain would be the next in line, if Nesta sucked in being mummys creature. That's pretty much described in the book.

I agree with every.single.point you made. This books should have been a novella about Nesta’s healing journey, coming together with Cas (more romance and bonding), her friends and the rebuilding of her relationship with her sisters. Could have done without the pregnancy and Rhys’ meddling also, not to mention the stupid treasure hunt, the queen and the weirdo wizard dude lol.
