Been going to La Lechonera since I was a little kid. They really have some of the best Cuban food I've ever had. I rented a house down the street for 2 years and I can honestly say that time was the best in my life. West Tampa is the shit. Good food and bad Spanish mommy's running around everywhere.

Yup that's the spot 4 sure. They stay busy. Ortiz tacos on 41 and nundy is pretty good too! They don't even show up on Google maps. If u got time to go down to Ruskin theres a spot called Olameca Mexican food that's pretty good too! They put cabbage in like taco bus and tacoson.

Big John @theempanadakingllc best empanadas in town , full of flavor , every bite is full from beginning to end , my favorite even tho all are great , Cuban sandwich or the mojo pork empanadas are my favorite , he also caters w the pizza flavor , buffalo chicken dip , chicken empanada ,the original beef empanada , he has made a beef and cheese , Hawaiian empanada ,even a very well balance guava and cheese w cinnamon drizzle ... and don’t let me get started on home made sauce , garlic and his hot sauce are the towns favorite combination , won’t be disappointed and will leave you wanting more

Big Jon has the best empanada in the bay hands down. His chicken empanada, beef n cheese empanada, cuban sandwich empanada are fucking fire! Also all 3 of his signature sauces are finger licking good. NO AIR POCKETS either!

I've had a few different ones. He is always making new flavors with true marinated meats with his own special sauces. Depending if you want mild, hot etc.
