Thank You. No DLog, just normal setting with ND filters. I over did the ND filters the first couple days and then reduced it down the last 3 days. Almost wish I didn't use any ND filters. Enjoy your visit!

Be careful around the Morro Bay campground and from Pismo Beach to Hearst Castle ...a few of the Calif State Park Rangers are overly aggressive , The campground is open 24 hours I was stopped by Ranger " B . E " as I drove into the campground in the early morning. He took 15 mins to run my drivers license and registration then he wrote me a $100 dollar ticket for " Non payment of camping fees " I explained to him he watched me drive into the park 15 mins ago and the normal procedure is find a empty space then write the space number on the after hours envelope then deposit that in the " Iron Ranger " or take your spot then wait till morning when the gate booth is open for payment by debit or credit card. And that is the job of the Campground host to tell people that at 7 am. that have not paid. Then he proceeded to ban me from the campground for 24 hours. While I was leaving I stopped at the gate pay booth to read the rules he pulled up on me again as I stood there and told me to get away from there I was banned from the park for 24 hours. My court date is written 4 months away from now for Grover Beach Court off Grand Ave. This seems way out of line to me I had done nothing wrong and was doing as any person wanting to go camp would do. So I would say to you be very careful but then again I had done nothing wrong...For those from out of town I don't think you would come back from your home town to pay for his overly aggressive ticket writing. I write this here to hopefully keep him from becoming more aggressive and maybe hurting someone or bringing a huge lawsuit against the City of Morro Bay . Calif State Park Ranger " K " is not far removed in her aggressive ticket writing ......anyone else have this problem ?

Nobody will be able to do something like this in the USA again, no matter which land they buy. Maybe in another country, but even that's unlikely. Pretty awesome they were able to do it back then and it's still here to be enjoyed.

I remember going to Morrow rock back in 1979. I don't remember that much else from then since I was only five. I think that I actually went to the shore and put my feet in the water. It was a little cool if I remember correctly. Well we all only get to be five once. Nice Highlander music in the background.

All my vacations were always to Morro Bay in the 60's and 70's. Remember at the original Hofbrau location and hanging out with them and ended up to be friends moving there in the early 80's. The Breakers was the nicest restaurant and my parents knew the Amsels? Harry and his wife would greet us at the door. Remember a tussle with the mobile home park below where the owner would shine a spot light into the viewing windows? Never knew what it was over. Amazing amount of fishing boats were there in the busy days. Remember also my father driving us out to slo to big open field with not much but stakes all over the ground and of all things a fountain. He said this is going to be a College. Cuesta College. Hate to see the power plant go and wish they could do something like an outdoor elevator to the top of one of the stacks for an amazing view and could take pictures for so many minutes and then back down. Probably could make some money on that. Back then it was very quiet and tourism was not much if any. There was a market on main street that was like big barn all wood. My parents sent me to go buy coffee for our room we stayed in next to the original HofBrau location and when I left that market a cop stopped me and said why are you not in school? Because I am on vacation... Usually always stayed at the long gone Harbor View Inn. One part of it is still there a house kind of building. Nothing but great times and memories.

Thank you. I considered labeling the holes but since I didn't do a perfect hole by hole flyover I chose not to add a bunch of text. 4:10 starts at hole #1 and goes in sequence in relation to what I filmed.

I worked in HOLLYWOOD 40 years... your videography with the drone is outstanding! To think we'd used to have to hire an expensive Bell Jet Ranger chopper, an expensive Tyler camera mount and an even more expensive PANAVISION camera to get something resembling the shots and steadiness you have here. Plus you got a perfect day with the right light! Its all subjective of course, but I speeded-up your video 1.5 x and matched it with a certain John Barry score and it is a better fit I think, a more inspiring pace. In fact, it would be a great intro to a BOND movie don't you agree?
@gregoryburt58753 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the complement and feedback from a Hollywood veteran. Crazy how filming has changed the past few years. Cool to hear you used other music while viewing. In making these I have learned music is a big part of the enjoyment when watching anything like this. It can be time consuming to find the right music and then to match it up properly. I'll have to look into the John Barry score you found to hear what that like. Yes I agree. !!
@grahamhill63403 жыл бұрын
Yes the right MUSIC is 50% of the experience... I used John Barry's JOHN DUNBAR theme radio version, but I also used John Williams SUPERMAN theme which also works great at the increased speed. As I said, your video is not fast enough... Morro Bay Rock is an iconic landmark so you have to use iconic music... if I was you I'd repost your great video with the SUPERMAN theme because it has an aerial flying-thru-the air quality... recut the slightly 1.25 x speeded-up imagery to fit the length of that track. As we approach the Rock crossing the estuary, the music swells up!@@gregoryburt5875
@gregoryburt58753 жыл бұрын
@@grahamhill6340 I made the video with a slow computer so there are a few flaws I couldn't see in the editing process. I will relook and redo this one with the new computer when I can find some time. I agree on the speed as long as it doesn't look like the video was sped up and you see cars and people moving at speeds you know are not real. Thats a challenge at times. Thanks again for the feedback and music ideas.
