Thanks for taking us on the road trip. There certainly was a lot to see, and the caves were spectacular! I love the 'local' perspective on the area's history. Thanks, Jan!

I watch the Pethericks regularly but must have missed the 'Duncan episode'. Jan, the garden is lovely and evolving into a magnificent space! All your hard work is paying off. It is cold, rainy, and miserable here, so a nice video dose of summer is exactly what I need! Thanks! I enjoy the 'day in the life' vlogs. There is a bit of everything. Thanks Jan.

I was wondering if you gave up on doing interviews with British people who moved to France? I thought that it was a very interesting part of this channel and I haven't seen any interviews here in a long time.

Hi, My interviews were never a permanent thing but I would like to do a few more. It isn't easy finding people that are willing to be on camera and I don't want people labelling me as 'that Jan who pesters' 😂 😊

Filming on the go is not always easy. If I remember correctly, that day it was one of those last minute decisions and so I just took out my phone and filmed an update so to speak. It's not always easy to film on the go and a tripod, for me, doesn't help to show things close up. I don't have a camera man like some KZbinrs. ❤

What a beautiful walk! The village houses are lovely. The 'gallery/museum' was awesome. The crooked picture frames really drew attention to the highlights and interactive features! I just love all the stonework. The old millstone was impressive! (I don't know what to call 'fruit squishers' called in any language) LOL! The historical physick, kitchen, teaching, and flower gardens were amazing. Every modern house should have a scaled-down version of this garden design. (Survival, abundance & aesthetics) There is so much to see and to explore! WOW! A castle with a moat! The location is beautifully maintained! The entire area is worthy of several visits and vlogs! It's made my bucket list that's for sure! Jan and Sharon, THANK YOU!!!! Best 'walk' ever!!!

Wow! Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei really is a picturesque village! Everything is so creative! Even the stations of the cross inside the church, the colour of the stones, the wall paintings, the flowers, and the greenery that border the streets and cottages create an artsy atmosphere. I'd love to see the interior of some of the houses! I'm not interested in buying a restaurant but the houses might tempt me! The chapel windows were delightful! I love the bridge! I hope you didn't touch the Staghorn Sumac! It's an excellent medicinal plant that smells nice but it is in the same family as poison ivy so it can be a nasty skin irritant! Beautiful video! Thanks Jan and Sharon. Gee, I wish it was summer!

The Retro decor in the coffee shop cracked me up because I didn't even notice the vintage vibes until you pointed it out and I read the text on the screen. LOL! (I still have a transistor clock radio and an old-fashioned rotary dial landline telephone). The bricked streets bordered by funky little shops, stalls, bakeries, and patio restaurants give Heraklion the feel of a Turkish market bazaar. There was everything from touristy souvenirs to upscale boutiques! (too bad about the graffiti but the murals were beautiful). The building with all the differently shaped windows was spectacular. What a unique architectural fusion! Were there any coins in the fountain or is that tradition too superstitious for modern Greece? Thanks Jan & Duncan! Lovely photos! I'm so happy you shared them,
