This is the best explanation of this pruning process I've come across! Thank you!!

Why are you uncomfortable accidentally harming a bird with a net, but ok with intentionally killy slugs ? Whats the difference? Dont kill either of them. . Accidents happen, but dont kill bugs because you dont value them as much as the more "attractive" life.

It's about the ecosystem... yes, all things help balance the ecosystem, but the slug population can quickly get out of control without such helpers as birds, snakes, frogs, etc. I will never totally eliminate the slugs, but I am always finding ways to lessen their damage to my garden and this does involve some killing.

This was really nice- calming & centering, without being over the top. One suggestion- can you please use a microphone for the next video, & maybe speak a little slower? Not trying to be critical, I just am really interested in what you’re saying! Thanks so much ❤

Madam I am from Pakistan. The pH value of my agricultural land is very high, no crops are growing, some plants are growing, some are not growing, please tell me how to reduce the pH level of my land soil and plant growth.

Finally, I understand my raspberries. While it is the first day of the year, I cannot wait to prune my second-year fall raspberries and get them ready for late Spring and Fall. Thank you so much for doing this, but would you mind attaching that graphic so we can print it and put it in our gardening planners?

There's a risk of rain washing your additives away. Why not dig a 4" deep trench around the bush and cover it over. The nutrients will reach the roots better.

Thats why of love the mountains of trinity county. The soil there is already perfect. I've literally grown 21ft cannabis plants. I've seen as much as 17 lbs on one plant, in one year. It was a mother plant that survived the winter to produce a second year. It was more of a tree with a 6in trunk

May I suggest elemental sulfur instead of 'Espoma sulfer'. Pure 99.9% prills are much easier for microbes to convert sulfur to sulfuric acid which is what lowers pH in the soil. If you want calcium then use elemental available calcium or a ferment product like Rooted Leaf. Espoma is not a great product.

I understand that with rye, you need to cut it just below the soil, chop the green growth completely from the root then leave it for 1 month before planting. As long as the chlorophyll producing part is attached to the root, the plant will hold on. This information was from the channel' ' I am organic farming ', he's a farmer himself, seems to definitely know what he's doing

My front yard has 2 large oak trees. The grass under those trees grows rarely. If I removed the top 3” of soil from under the trees and use that in my blueberry containers and then use bagged top soil to fill in the loss soil under my trees. Maybe???

Love the creativity, gardening and grilling aspects of this video, however I looked up if you can eat sunflower shells online and it says, "While sunflower seed shells are technically edible, they are not recommended to eat because they are tough, fibrous, and can be difficult to digest. Eating too many sunflower seed shells can cause a blockage in your intestinal tract, which can be dangerous." So just be mindful when making this. 😊

Great tips! I did some aggressive leaf trimming yesterday and it looks like I may need to do some more based on your results. My tomatoes are in my Greenstalks and went wild. I didn’t plant them until July 4th due to a bicep injury. Next year I will be more aggressive earlier in the season 😎
