This is NOT caused by "Climate Change". The cause is a combination of ocean currents, the Columbia River, and Willapa River. They have been trying for decades to slow down and prevent erosion. It's all failed. If the erosion has slowed or stopped it's more likely due to the change in the Willapa River channel.

No amount of hand-wringing has ever brought a dead person back to life. But people are supposed to learn from mistakes, in order to avoid making the same ones in the future.

They tried it in Oregon, rather than Bonneville or Black Rock, and killed Jessi. Hope that was worth it.

You're thinking of Día de los Muertos, the Mexican holiday on November 1 and 2 that. The City of Lakewood's Fiesta de la Familia does incorporate some Día de los Muertos traditions into the September 7 event. We hope you can attend!

Every time I see an RC plane video where they land their big models on a grass strip, I get so frustrated. How the F can you put table top wheels on a jet plane body and race it on dirt???

As a cyclist these trails are great and I'm glad they're being invested in. As someone who likes mass transit, it makes me sad to see how much of our rail system is gone. I would've loved to be able to relax in a railcar while traveling across the mountains and along the rivers. Imagine eating in a dining car and outside your window are the cascades going by.

And they suck because it takes forever to get on a plane, which means that locations that would take 2 hours to take a train to will take at 2+ hours on an airplane when you factor in the security hell.

2:39 Americans are so funny about their “old” buildings. 150 years is peanuts. I grew up in Europe…and my _elementary school_ was 400 years old.

The celebration tour that would never happen, had he only driven it and not allowed anyone else to drive it he would have been praised for his efforts. The fact is Ed was called out in public over and over again over the lack of safety equipment makes this an experiment that killed Jessi almost criminal. RIP Jessi Combs.

Not just the car. They needed a bigger area. The black rock desert is 2 to 3x as long as their location. Watching the video if she had a few more miles without hitting the bumps at the sage brush, she probably would have made it. She almost crashed once before cuz the chutes didn't open. That's crazy to attempt this in an undersized runway

My family and I were fortunate to be given a tour of this incredible ship by Captain Paul at Moss Landing California today. Beautiful! I felt excited to feel the history benighted my feet. I was told that it was fitted with a diesel and electric engine. I should have asked what the purpose of the electric engine was used for. Thanks to Don Kohrs for his introduction to Captain Paul. It was a wonderful experience.

I love what used to be Mama's mints ( or were they Gramma's mints). They make them for Camp Fire Girls. Used to by the imperfect mints at the outlet store. Don't see them anymore on their website.

Just found your video. Yes, funeral home doors close to any one cutting into their profits. The funeral homes buy China made caskets for a few hundred dollars and sell them to the grieving families for thousands. I know, I build coffins also.

I would just build a salmon ladder on top of the floating pontoon. Just use the sea water and a pump and have it running all the time. Could also design a section of the ladder that is not as high so that maintenance vehicles can still use it. I would also use some technology to count the amount of fish that use it and automatically measure size and height and catalog the fish into a database.

This video is painful to watch considering that it killed its pilot due to being massively under developed. The BritishThrustSSC had the smartest aeronautical and F1 engineers on the planet with forensic levels of scientific development plus piloted by an RAF ace. Compare this to the MUH' patriotism USA death trap powered by baby boomer incompetence using a cold war relic fighter jet fuselage. WHY would any sane rational person think this hunk of junk with boomer tech development would beat the SSC?!? its no surprise it tragically killed its pilot looking at this documentary and the criminal level incompetence shown in its development. This is almost EXACTLY the same pattern shown as with the ocean gate tragedy: hubris baby Boomer thinks hes smarter than everyone else and develops his own 'superior' contraption. dated American patriotism and hubris is a deadly combination
