Bro, get your analysis right. umer has been calling merab out for a long time, but he kept ducking him so finally UFC force merab to take this fight and as far as making it to where umer is today , you think his fights were walk in the park Have you seen their training regiment so no, actually, it's umer who worked harder to achieve everything.and what you think about merab saying umer disrespected him?
@fightenergyfilmsКүн бұрын
Hello! I don’t think I said his fights were a walk in the park, I looked at it from purely a rankings perspective. I appreciate how hard these guys work, especially with Khabib as their coach! Appreciate your comment 👊

Merab spent a lot of time avoiding to fight his teammate. He is human so he most probably had second thoughts during that process. I think this is the most physiologically hard experience for him to get to where he is right now which affected his comments about Umar.
@fightenergyfilmsКүн бұрын
Good to hear from you again my friend! That’s an interesting perspective. I think Merab does have some resentment for the path Umar took to the title, but like I said, it is through no fault of Umar’s!

11:21 Umar couldnt get a contender match because everyone is DUCKING him. Thats why everyone gave Sandhagen props for accepting the fight.
@shotadgebia7046Күн бұрын
Keep underestimating Merab. I have a question for everyone, if O'Malley kept his belt, would Umar get a title shot against him? We all know the answer to that. You know nothing about Georgian willpower or you would know that skills in this fight take a second place. Willpower and faith are the reasons why Georgia still exists and keeps being a beacon of the Caucasus. Umar mentioned something about the deep waters, however, I'm not sure who is walking into it here, we live, we see as the saying goes. UFC doesn't want Merab but knows that there's no one at the moment who can take Merab out so Dagestani is their last chance. Get ready for upset... Would love to read comments after the fight

Arman's shots are faster, yes, and he might be more explosive on the entry, but Islam to me is stronger and most importantly more knowledgeable in the clinch, he's way more aware of his opponent's balance, and where his weight needs to be, I think he's smarter about his timing on when he shoots, Arman has this tendency where it a guy is stuffing the shot, he just starts trying to shoot just to make contact, even if that means taking bad shots, and getting stuck under a guy. He's stubborn but that stubbornness led to him getting outworked in the later rounds by Gamrot. Islam is just a lot smarter than Arman in the wrestling. I think 1st takedown really exemplifies what I am talking about. By the time Islam has grabbed Arman's far side wrist, Arman has underhook, in Islam's head this is no longer a striking exchange in the clinch, he has already set the trap for the trip. Islam already has two keys, Arman's body is driving in the direction he wants to trip, in the direction of the fence, Islam has the superior head position, being above your opponent makes it easier to use leverage so you pull the direction of the trip, by the time Islam grabs Arman’s far side wrist the set up for the trap is complete, Arman is alreadv driving his body in the direction where Islam wants to trip to counter Islam's ability to drive from his underhook, that he's got punched in deep under Arman's armpit, his control of the wrist ensures he gets a clean passage into mount, the knee Arman threw made it to where Islam needed minimal force to kick out the leg in the first place. He kicks out the leg, Arman falls, and Islam gets a beautiful pass into mount. By the time Arman still thinks there trying to strike in the clinch, Islam had already set up his trap and executes it beautifully. Islam is just superior when it comes to the understanding of where his opponents balance needs to be. Theres multiple sequences like this, hell some even in the pure wrestling where Islam is just one to two steps ahead in sequence while Arman is responding to the previous move. being 1-2 steps ahead in sequence. I might be wrong but thats what I think.
@kaliduncanel33564 күн бұрын
I seriously don't know why he didn't use the clinch. I think a few sweeps or throws would've thrown his game off just a little bit. Maybe the outcome may have been the same. I'm just not a fan of anyone going out there and having a shoot out with Alex

UFC just freed Majachev vs. Poirier. It was a very competitve fight - Majachev striking looked high-level and Poirier looked very crafty. But they both were exhausted by 4th round. Honestly, with his relentless pressure, elite boxing and high-level basal wrestling&grappling, I see Ilia Topuria resisting Majachev's takedown and submission attempts and eventually outpacing and KOing him in a 5 round war. If only Topuria was 1,80-1,78cm I would favor him. Majachev should fight 4 men before his retirement in 2026: Tsarukyan, Oliveira, Topuria and Rajmonov.
@fightenergyfilms4 күн бұрын
I like that list of fights a lot. Can I assume you think Makhachev beats Tsarukyan?
@joseluisalvarez86484 күн бұрын
@@fightenergyfilms I am not so sure. Majachev is, in my opinion, slightly favorite because of his striking advantage, his calm and his experience. Tough I know Tsarukyan will neutralize his wrestling and could possibly outgass him in later rounds. It is a 55-45% for Majachev in my opinion.

Islam is a neat and disciplined fighter. Indeed Islam can make some mistakes. But Arman is more careless than Islam and makes mistakes very often. Even when fighting Charles we see how many times Arman is in trouble because of carelessness.

since their last fight....Arman has improved to compete at par with Charles. And Islam has improved to become the P4P king and the future legend. Islam though would not just walkthrough Arman....but still he has all the tools to easily beat him
@Mitchymma5 күн бұрын
But he couldn't walk through Porier. Are you saying Poirier is better than Oliviera? It's about matchups bro not linear mma math And even same fighters..often rematches end up being totally different fights
@aRsH-aJ5 күн бұрын
@@Mitchymma watch the very first round. Porier was almost submitted and was being dominated through out the round. All he did somehow survive the submission and on feet the best boxer was outboxed. Islam won all the rounds. And Porier was trying to stand up to him in every round. Its not walkthrough like in case of Charles....but still it was commendable against a veteran. Arman's fate won't be different either. He would only try to survive the rounds and lose everyone of it.
@Mitchymma5 күн бұрын
@aRsH-aJ it was closer than you think bro although Islam clearly won the rounds but again prefight everybody was saying it's a cakewalk for Islam. Porier actually did more damage. Islam probably wins especially if Arman makes mistakes which he does a lot but it's not gonna be a cakewalk. Their skill sets match up well. Arman has the speed advantage and been training with khamzat. This fight ends on the feet though.
