I saw them live just a few nights back. Compositing the tracks in the studio is one thing, reproducing them live is an entirely different thing.

Great song. It is quite simple, but like a lot of hist stuff, the harmony (and the phrasing too) is unexpected, constantly shifting under your feet, a little mysterious.

God, this is good stuff. Just recently discovered Westerman a few months ago. A pleasant discovery on my Spotify playlist. New fave artist, there is something absolutely irresistable about his music. Thanks for the great tunes, dude! Please swing and play in Montréal, Canada, if you ever have a chance :)

@5ynthesizerpatel Жыл бұрын
@@danjohnston3422 I think it's because they make music about times and people that wanted to push humanity's limits - which is a spirit which seems very much lost today - at least in the older generations

does anyone know the tuning and the chords of this song? i can't seem to figure it out.
@UprightBassist5 жыл бұрын
Jelle Pieper in case you did not yet figure it out by yourself, tune your guitar down to an open D flat Major chord. Works, and matches to his hand on the fretboard. I was wondering about this myself, but without your question, I would have left it by just thinking "okay, another song with an open Major tuning". BTW, please don't miss the A Major seventh chord he uses, and the G flat Minor, even harder to properly grip. All others are simply Barre chords, one finger across the board. How this helps.
