There's an old saying that says " if it's not broken don't touch it" What was wrong with just ticking a box for bloom ? Is that to complicated for people ? How can it be easier to go into the compositor, add nodes & then select "bloom" ? I wish the blender guru's would just leave things alone. 😡😡😡
@rasheedsedit384815 күн бұрын
Haha yess...I am with you ...before we could just preview how the bloom would look like in viewport now we have to render and see..please one click is now changed to multiple steps ...even though I love that we could add bloom to cycles too now ..but yeah

i got it, don`t search for subtract, search for Vector math, then submenu.
@rasheedsedit38482 ай бұрын
Yesss..or u can just click on drag on the output of the tool u want the subtract attached to, a search menu will open up and then just search for subtract

Hello, it turned out to be very interesting. Stick it to the cylinder and the animation of the candle burning is already ready.))) If there is a separate lesson about setting up the material, then it will be interesting to see.))) Gorenje Well, except for the Patreon.
@rasheedsedit38484 ай бұрын
Hey... thanks..I am glad u liked the video..for the material there is not much there ..I am using the distance of the sphere and saving it in a named variable..which is then used in the shader editor to change the emission strength..I also added a little noise in it to make it dynamic
@eclecticgamer51445 ай бұрын
This is a terrible "solution". 1: The two meshes aren't connected, so you'll get artifacting when displacing. 2: Having two meshes taking up the same space will cause you a lot of headaches. Add in: "Where Point Neighbors < 4, set position to 'nearest' of other mesh" Do this for both meshes, larger one first, exclude the "outer edge" of the larger plane. Then merge by distance. You'll get a seamless, dynamic subdivision mesh without artifacting.
