I did 8 years in prison as a result of my addiction... And yes, those consequences SAVED MY LIFE. No doubt... God revealed this to me. It DID name me such a better person... He ABSOLUTELY used my consequences to develop my character and make me a better person.. now I work a job where I can help my fellow addicts recover. HE IS SO SO GOOD Y'ALL❤

I believe wrath from God is not anger for us christians. Maybe not for anybody. I think his wrath is his passionate response to our situations that we put ourselves in, are ongoing sins that he's seeking to free us from. His wrath is a picture of His love for us, not anger.

I'm trying to stop taking the Lord's name in vain. On the other hand, 4-letter words here and there... expletives... can be significantly employed for the sake of emphasis. If used habitually and too often, they lose the impact intended. "Dirty" words seem to horizontally offend assorted people. As open-minded as I think I am, I admit to being grossed out by a few specific anatomical slurs. But then, a lot of biology is kinda gross. Some words used commonly in the UK are just unpleasant to hear, so I suggest a lot of this topic can be seen as simply cultural differences. Even in secular society, context is highly significant. These easily offended churchy pharisees as Tullian so rightfully points out, are the real problem and do not help anyone who needs to find Christ.

LOVED BY GOD , saved and safe IN Christ by faith by God's grace , 1 Corinthians 15 :1-4. please do not speak in generalisations telling us what we think or believe, seems like many pastors do this unaware that that is a form of burden - just tell us about individuals or your own experiences, some of us may be exactly where you are describing but others may be resting and enjoying Christ , Christ our High Priest is faithful and is growing each one of us according to His perfect will. My mother tortured and beat me for 14 years along with her men and my biological father who also abused me - no one in the family did anything about it , and when i spoke up i was rejected, slandered and rejected. i was left with TBI ( 5 areas of brain damage by my mothers hands ) . i walked away from these dogs , they never were or will be held accountible . THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVES ME AND IS FAITHFUL IS GOD ! THE LORD NEVER EVER FAILED ME and although i am broken and weak I have everything because I am IN Christ who is my Righteousness , who loves me infietly and by His blood I have been redeemed FREELY by His GRACE ! Christ died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world, Christ was buried , and on the third day Christ rose from the dead- WHOSOEVER BELIVES THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST IS BORN OF GOD and cannot EVER BE CAST OUT FORGIVEN MEANS FORGIVEN !!!!!!!!!!
