You’re a fucking hack. FULL STOP. I’m glad to have been someone who worked for you and no longer does. I know that you THINK your methods are gold, but they’re dogshit you’ve conjured to validate yourself. Shame.

Who do I have to get in touch with my scholarship? I emailed Joy Shazima? About my confirmation to HCC and verification to what I’ll be studying but haven’t received anything yet and I can’t enroll without paying first. Classes start the 23rd of this month and would be great if I get back in touched! I also emailed my school’s principal, Mr Gilmore about it. Please and THANK YOU!

I’m wondering the same thing because I honestly think they need COVID 19 under control before they just release our kids in harms way of exposure! In my opinion that’s Ridiculous.

You sent the information but didn't send the log in information.
I’ve been able to video chat one of my teachers that works for the CHW program that we have but I’m not able to do my classes, when I log into my email and join the classes that I have (4) it says “class not found” and it’s been saying that since last Friday, it says that for each class. I’ve told my advisor about it but I don’t know if the problems going to fixed or not, I want to get my classes done but it keep saying “class not found”

Not a put down, as I know how hard it is (and expensive) to make a slick video....BUT it is THIS kind of identifying that throws us off the track from TRULY helping at-risk kids. Listing a bunch of symptoms makes it look like it is the kids' fault, when the truth is the definition should first be expanded. It is not just dropping out, but it is this: "In danger (or "at-risk") of not succeeding in school or life." Schools are supposed to help supply us with what we need to SUCCEED. We educators are in the Success Business. But without sales you cannot truly call yourself a car salesperson. Without learners there can be no teaching. Learners create teachers. Likewise, a kid could not be at-risk without a school. A school plays a large part in creating at-risk kids, yes? By changing the definition to include the phrase, "a student is at-risk when there is a MISMATCH between what they need and what the school provides for the student to succeed in school and life" is much more honest as well as helpful. It makes the school a PARTNER in the definition. It empowers the school by making it responsible in part. If here is no school there is no 'at-risk learner'. We create them by defining them. Let's agree to define them more accurately and admit we play a huge role in their staying at-risk. If there are no learners, there are no teachers.
