Lou Reed wrote this song when he was in the Velvet Underground

The best version is on the Live 1969 double album, that whole record is incredible!.

I will listen! Thanks
@keiranbradley323814 күн бұрын
Lou's rhythm playing on that whole record is outstanding, there's a tremendous version of "what goes on" too. Live 1969 is a gatefold sleeve/cover of a drawn lower half of a girl in a short dress and heels, mostly green. Peace.

The Velvet Underground. Just in case you think it's just Lou Reed?.

It isn't by Keith Richards, it's from The Velvet Underground
@jeffslade18922 ай бұрын
It's a Lou Reed (obviously) but Keith Richards' is possibly the best version ever. Do listen to the way Keith plays silence, this is what makes it bounce. Watch Keith's playing in the released video. You can also play count how many different guitars Keith used and guess how many went into the final over-dub. And then there's the stereo panning. Bounce.

Well done. I've been trying to master the RL and Fred McDowell style for awhile and it is not easy. I appreciate the reminder that those guys did it from a young age and it was a part of them. No amount of lessons or studying can make up for that. Integrating it as part of one's own personal style is a better approach. 🥃

I make my own acrylic powder & superglue fingernails for the sole purpose of playing country blues. They’re strong as hell and short enough to NOT be noticeable at all. I’ve done it for years now. 👍
