do you think I should wait a long time to save up for a real kraken or should I get the one from armed shark? I heard its really heavy in weight tho. Im still a bit of a beginner (ik bt8b, helix, fan, half orbit, chaplin, stuff like that) would it be hard to learn tricks on a heavier bali or should I stick with my squiddy u for now?

I mean, it's up to personal preferences at this point. (skip to the end for TLDR) The real Kraken V3 trainer: 4.19 Ounces (about 119 grams) Armed Shark Kraken V3 trainer: 4 Ounces (113 grams) Armed Shark uses the same metal as the real Kraken (7075 aluminum). From my experience, my kraken clone has held up pretty well in terms of tolerances, so I'm guessing the real Kraken could hold up a lot better. Getting a Kraken from Squid Industries themselves would give the balisong a more sentimental value since it's the real thing. I suggest watching Clone Support's video about him comparing the two balisongs if you want to have a clearer idea about which one to choose. Finally, for learning tricks, I think it's best to have a lighter balisong (Squiddy) and a heavier balisong (prob a Kraken) to get used to switching balis. Some tricks are a bit easier on heavier balis, while some are easier on lighter balis. TLDR: Armed Shark Kraken = a bit lighter Squid Industries Kraken = a bit heavier If your budget is short, get Armed Shark Kraken, if you can afford to wait a bit to save up, Squid Kraken it is. Multiple experienced people have stated that the only reason you should buy the real one over this is the logo and resale value. Other than, for flipping the clone is on par with the real thing. The weight has an inaccuracy but it's neither better nor worse. A balisong isn't better just because it is lighter or heavier. Armed Shark is the goat at clones. You should just save your money and get the Armed Shark kraken.

Also, though different weight does result in a different flipping experience. A difference of 0.19 ounces is not going to make a difference in flipping at all.

It held up better than I thought! The closed handle gap didn't even change, but the open handle gap closed in about 2mm. I haven't dropped it on concrete yet, but it can survive a drop on hardwood floor with barely a scuff. The only bad thing I noticed recently is that the bite handle zen pin got loose after like 4 months but I just put super glue on it, let it sit for a few hours and it hasn't moved since. Armed Shark is scarily good at making good clones
