Hey, guys! Well, I enjoyed this immensely! Following are some clarifications and trivia that I thought you'd find interesting... Fear’s total budget was $840,000. We shot the film for $540,000 and took it all the way to work print. Avco put up $300,000 to complete it. We paid a buy-out of $10,000 for the needle drops (the songs) with the stipulation that we could not release a soundtrack album with the tracks. The review ad was put together by myself. Favourite quote “The car’s rockin’, don’t come knockin’” Avco “platformed” the film’s release. Its initial openings were in January but, to keep costs down, they needed to rotate a limited number of prints that they had struck. This was the reason for the varied opening dates across the country. Carry on!

I have spent MANY a night at the drive-in with snow, rain and cold so a nice weathered rainstorm or wind is small potatoes compared to some of my old school stories...Thankfully my Dad was ex-Army and weather of any kind would never scare that guy away. On my own,I always brought towels and blankets just in case of cold and rain or even snow.

At first I was wondering if I had it set to "1.25" speed. "Maybe we should record this and play it back in slow motion." It has been a _looong_ time since I last saw this (rented on VHS back in the 90's from a place in Louisville called *Wild and Woolly)* and I remember liking it. Not quite as good as *Deliverance* or *Rituals,* but I think I like it better than *Southern Comfort.*

Thanks for posting this Bill. I'm old enough to have grown up in a house with General Hospital on everyday. Geary was so good on that show but I've never found his acting work in films compelling. Penitentiary 3 role came across as pure camp even though he was supposed to be a serious villain
