i first heard " you gonna make me love somebody else" April 1980 and never heard them on top 40 radio again after about 1981 . ... a really good female group that should have been huge in the early 1980s. maybe they needed to make a few pop and dance songs to get on the top 40 charts and get mass radio play back then?

Only knew Safety Dance from these guys. Saw them on 7/17/24 in Boston in the Totally Tubular Festival. Ivan was the best, by far. Blew me away. And now I have all their CDs. These guys are great! Are they in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? If not, they should be!

Really enjoying hearing Rory`s stories. `Bad For Good` is my second favourite album of all time. The lead vocal on `Rock `n` Roll Dreams Come Through` is wonderful and I was amazed to hear that it was done in one take!

his voice is so pure & beautiful. It will be forever remembered for this song. the perfect counter balance for Bonnies raspy power vocals. I wish they did a version where they reversed the vocal parts. I think that would be fun to hear. I do feel sorry for bonnies vocal chords having to sing these power vocal classics for 40 years. Holding out for a hero is another one that is brutal on the voice.

I am blessed know Ms. Scherrie personally, I used to attend the church she is a member of and she is very active in their music ministry. She is also a gifted songwriter and playwright.
