Where is the Social Welfare Dept? If we have departments just in name, as opposed to action, it's better to close them.

I am surprised when journalists like Bernard pretend on air that Ghanaians never left Ghana for abroad until now. I finished UGBS in 2006 and didn’t get a job after national service. I won the visa lottery and happily left for the USA in 2010. During that time, majority of my friends also left. Ghanaians will continue to leave because Ghana is becoming worse every year & those who stay are okay with it, or they don’t have options 🤔.

DVLA has 2 separate receipts at the CBG bank. Official payments to Ghana has a separate receipt and the receipts for such scam such as change of number and verification etc though you’ll pay at the CBG bank, the receipt given you is similar to the official receipt but not same.

This is what our useless IGP Dampare should be fighting but he is foolishly pursuing people voicing out their anger over our idiotic president's governance and the hardship metered on us... Foolish IGP, no wonder his own colleagues wanted him out.

The voice notes and commentary by the general public on this issue of hope in the brand Ghana is an indictment on our leaders. In fact they have failed portoor. The greater challenge is you cannot hold them accountable as for some people voting for either NDC or NPP is a sport. I am a Chelsea fan so whether good or bad I am with Chelsea. Otherwise we would have had a third force long time already. I have not lost hope in myself to make it but in our current crop of leaders we have to forget it for now. Hopefully, there next generation of leadership might offer so hope. As I always say man does not make man it's God who is in control of my life. Whether in Ghana or Europe my God will bless me. God bless our nation!

1. Caleb summarized it; in your most vulnerable state, will the country step in for you? It’s a big NO in Ghana 2. Benard it’s true we all have the responsibility to build the country together, but ask yourself - you have been on radio for about 20yrs pushing our leaders to do the right things, but in 2024 we all can agree that the country is worse than last 20 years when you started radio. 3. People are not leaving just because of money, but for good healthcare, education, security, insurance, pension, affordable cost of living, jobs, peace of mind, water flowing, continuous power supply, good justice system, comfortable means of transport etc. can you mention any of these parameters that you can boldly say that Ghana offers the citizens. Even 70%

People travel from Ghana, young people, to find a way of supporting family and in the process sustaining the economy of Ghana! Find out how much the diaspora sends to Ghana every year?? Then look into what Ghanaians do in USA, Canada, UK, Germany etc., etc., in order to send to Ghana all that they do. And for what? For these thieves, these hooligans you call politicians to squander ??

On campaign trail, Bawumia, PhD Economics(?) , Vice President of Ghana, seeking the Presidency , says at a rally , “This is not real ‘Dumsor’. We are preserving more power for future use”. And nobody left the rally. They probably cheered. And people will vote for him, Ghanaians. And why not? Look at the name of the Ghana International Airport! How long?? What will it take?
@kwakubonsu4602Күн бұрын
Ghanaians complain too much and do nothing. Independence was not given to us out of British generosity. Independence was given on DEMAND. The thievery in Ghana that begins at the top and trickles down, is because the Ghanaian citizenry does NOT demand accountability …”Fa ma Nyame “ . Go into the Bible, (Ghana’s favorite book of complacency), you will find that that god that the whiteman used to tame, enslave and stupefy Africa, is NOT a forgiving god. He is a vengeful god who punishes those who go against his will with fire and brimstone, flood and famine!! Ghanaians are not frustrated. If they were they wouldn’t take these politicians quietly. At a time when the cedi was in a free fall, the guy that should be panicking to ensure that it stops, has the audacity to tell the nation, “SIKA MMPĒ DEDE” . What nonsense? What do you think a Japanese prime minister would have done? What would a British Prime Minister have done? At a time when the cedi was in a free fall, Cecilia Dapaah, a government official is caught with hard currency, millions of dollars, in cedis and dollars, in her house! While teachers and nurses, national service students had not been paid for months? How did this woman explain how she came to be in possession of so much ? It went away quietly. Why? I guess “SIKA MMPĒ DEDE”!! And you sing “God bless our homeland Ghana “. With what ? Gold, diamonds bauxite, cocoa, plantain, yam, tomatoes, deer, cattle, sheep, fish?? What? John Mensah Sarbah said the land was handed over to the present generation as safe keepers for future generation by our forefathers? For this reason he refused to sell to foreigners. So why are our chiefs and government officials helping foreigners destroy our land, galamsey, using our people as slave labour again!! Sir , we need to stop whining and start fighting. Our true national anthem is “Yen ara asaase ni…”
