@karenruane19 күн бұрын
Hi Michelle, a wrapping cloth is a quilt, a coverlet, a throw or shawl. It's a large embroidered piece, I make them with joined panels of embroidery. To me though they are pieces with which to wrap up my kids and keep them safe in a symbollic way.

First time viewer.. may I ask what a wrapping cloth is?
@karenruane1Ай бұрын
Hi, a wrapping cloth to me is symbolic of my desire to wrap and protect my children. If that isn't something anyone would like to associate with these pieces then I would say they are shawl like.....hope that makes sense xx

Hi Karen, your lace cloth is absolutely gorgeous. I am determined to create a piece like this with hand stitching only. I have so much newer lace trim that I don’t use in my projects because I prefer cotton lace. This nylon lace might be a way for me to use up this lace rather than donating it to the reuse center.
