How do you get your lifts like that? I've seen a lot of the "practice lifting between a chair and the kitchen counter" type comments-are there any other tips?

i agree with arfu69 tho. irish dance is not always as traditional. it changes (obviously) so whats in style rite now at all irelands and worlds and all that is sharpness and the ability to kick your legs above your head like front clicks are meant to go high not waist level. :) oh and about the third time in philly.. she means in philadelphia it will be her 3rd worlds, not it will be her 3rd time in philly for words =) cheers lol

what school is this? i feel like i might recognize some of these dancers but they go to different schools...

well sorry but if you knew anything about Irish dancing then you should know that traditionally it is not about kicking over you head or kicking your ass sharply......its about foot work, sound, ability to do more than just kick your legs round the place..!!!!!
