I worked for a dog rescue, and one night was called to do a 'volunteer' surrender. We had already started an investigation but anyway, I had a gnawing feeling that it was going to be a tough one, so I brought my niece and her best friend, so I knew her well also.. We pulled up Alarm sided front yard staying on the side of the road , Which is what I like to do. There was a 22-23 yr. Old male and a 17 year old female. She had acquired the dog three years prior on her 14th birthday. He is a Chihuahua, that spent the 1st 3 yrs. Of his life in a dark closet 22 hrs a day, with a nobark collar tightly around his little nose, it caused him to have the collar dent permanently on his nose. The 2 owners were not allowed a dog so they thought keeping him in the closet, living on chips and beer for water was the best thing for the puppy:( They bragged at how he inhaled potato chips because 'he loves them so much' I had all I could do not to strang le these 2..as tears were pouring down our faces, neither myself my niece or her friend said a word, I just nodded and occasionally mumbled an "ok" as they giggled about how that dog started his 1st long 3 yrs. Alone... He was already blind in one eye due to the dark closet and being kicked into a wall because they couldnt get him to stop crying one night and didnt want to get caught... The male told us how he was taking care of him and didnt want the landlord angry at the dog or these 2 *@$([<=$.. He was so thin I thought his tiny legs were going to break.. I made a decision when they handed me the dog and I held that precious tiny baby in my arms and he cuddled up around my neck...I decided I was going to give him the best life anyone could possibly give a dog, I quit my job and moved to another state and literally left it all behind both of us, I dont know what this little guy did to me that night 8.5 years ago, but he is the love of my life and I would not change a thing about him coming into my life, he is blind, deaf amd had seizures quite often back then, but, knock on wood, they happen once a year approx now! Hes traveled the US with my fiance and I, and his brother also loves him, my Arabian horse, he came along with us on our new adventure, He is such a happy boy, sometimes misses his puppy pads...and I dont even care lol He loves his pictures taken, he is kissing me in my picture! Cutie isnt he?:) I named the dog CaponeE, drop the capital E, I will never post his name on the internet. The female did find me and emailed me and was blocked, rhen actually called me no idea how she got the number but she actually had the nerve to ask me for the dog back!!!! I almost fainted , heart attack, panic attack at the thought of EVER handing her my baby.. Id be picking which Country my fiance, CaponeE and the horse, (who is equally as special..)be a new resident in!! 5 yrs. Has passed, all together he's been in a true loving home with us for 8 and a half years... He's the best thing that can happen to me in this life. I never tell this story, never have posted so much on youtube ever...but listening to him breathing and snoring away is the best sound, and he gets such a restful sleep listening to your channel... Thank you so much for this, it has given a very deserving puppy many hours of happy play and restful sleep:)

My 3 dogs (2 y/o Pikachu mix, 12 year y/o and 14 y/o Shih Tzus watch this when they go to bed every night. I set it to play on a 1 hour auto-shutoff. As soon as it starts playing on the TV, they immediately climb into their beds and are asleep within minutes 🐶💤 🥰
