I believe the only reason why V70II is quicker as the V70I is because of the newer gearbox, different ratio.

No and 0-100 isnt everything. The diesel cannot keep up on the higher RPMs, horsepower wins in the end.

the Sporting had a shorter ratio gearbox, correct?

Yes the sporting & abarth versions got a better gearing for acceleration. The gain is around 1seconde on the 0 to 100km/h

Celle sur l'image c'est une finition Monaco GP, elles sont rares en V6, on les trouve plus souvent en 2.0L dCi

You need to use OB2 to get an accurate 0 to 100. Most cars analog speedos are out by 6%

Yep! Also GPS will work, but for me it's difficult to guess when it's on 100. So that's the reason I'm using the speedo Edit: Sorry for the late response

Transmission whine, you can hear it in almost all gears, but 1st is the loudest.. it gives off more sporty feel <3
