if you pretend to ride forever, protection is a must. i´ve raced for 10 years and now riding dirt jumps and initiating on freestyle, i´ve had crashed a thousand times but never had any mayor injury thanks to knee pad, elbow pads, chest guard and neck brace. also if you are thinking on stop riding cause an injury could affect you work just armour up

For me it's about the hassle of U-brake setup and maintenance. Try sourcing a straddle cable and yoke that fits your specific brakes without purchasing an entire brake set. U-brakes are also just a poor design for leverage, I don't know how they became the standard. Disk brakes are easy set up and relatively maintenance free once set up. I think it's 2025, and we need more options.

I think the issue that people have is the leg position. Just telling people to go learn it right is kinda wild lol. Try actually talking people through the motion of the right way. Reason why indian is so comfy for people is because in your normal foot forward position Lets say right forward, 180 is typically best left, but then landing people try to roll out the fakie while in that right foot forward position meaning the bar has less room to turn.. where as if they fakie out to the right that left foot is way back so there is more room making it feel more natural. I feel if you were to touch on this video again you should maybe to a more in the field guide and explain where your feet are moving too in order to get the smooth feeling and room. Sorry if I wasn't clear, English not 1st.

1 piece cranks also came on some of the most expensive BMX bikes in the 80's. And they were generally stronger than 3 piece cranks. This very video proves it. 3 piece cranks failed often, from different brands (Profile, Hutch, etc).

As a BMX or bicycle geek, give me recommendations of different parts and brands that are best if you're the one that will gonna used for life. Aftermarket parts probably the best because you can pick parts and not just a whole assembled bike.
