Took me 32 years to realize that the first Hungover movie was a remake of this game. The Dream Team must have had a long night of poker after beating Cuba the day before. The FG % was awful and the amount of turnovers...

I LOVE the intricate passing game these guys had going! Overdoing it is probably right though. Once you get to passing too much it eventually becomes easy to defend, but still, the Dream Team was awesome. A lot of heroes here, Karl and Sir Charles were tearing it up with points. Drexler definitely earned the MVP with lots of points, plenty of assists, a big block late, and that game-finishing dunk. First time I've ever seen someone dunk on the buzzer. What a way to cap that slaughter and ensure the MVP! After that, Magic and Stockton definitely were in contention for an MVP with tons of creative assists, and Magic doing a great job of rebounding, Michael too for that matter.

This was a great moment for the NBA fans and other nations to witness the 1992 dream team...I hate how today's media just disrespects this classic team...If it wasn't for these guys, you wouldn't see NBA players going to the Olympics because these guy broke the mold by showing introducing the greatest players in world playing for this team such as Larry bird, Magic Johnson, Jordan, Ewing, Stockton, Malone, Mullin, Sir Charles, Clyde" The glide" Drexler, Scottie pippen and Duke college champion and future nba player Christian lattner

This USA game vs Cuba...in Oregon remains even today, among my favorite games ever. Up there with Kobe's 81, his last game, Lakes v Celtics and when Kobe lobbed to Shaq.

No disrespect to the dream team they were great but cmon y’all the comp they faced wasn’t even g league level today hell even collegiate. You can just tell the level of talent doesn’t compare. Watching today’s Olympics you can see the talent on every country and they don’t dribble with only their right hand everywhere. I’m convinced yall smoke nostalgia with how bad yall cope on it

I’m here after seeing all the people talking shit about the 2024 squad and saying the dream team would destroy them. All I gotta say is this. The 2024 team would also steamroll this Angola team. The competition in 92 is really bad.

I think that today (2024) people underrate the quality of the opposition the Dream Team faced. In addition to overestimating the quality of today’s US players.

In 92 I was a rookie at my job and we serviced hotels and restaurants. I was on my 1st emergency service call weekend by myself. . I was covering 5 territories? I had a ton of fear and anxiety. I get a call for a posh hotel in downtown Portland. I get there and there is NO Fing parking anywhere?!! I'm confused as there are tons of people everywhere running around? Like there was a parade? Well I get a spot 1/2 hr later and 8-10 blocks away after hunting for one! argh. I carry my clip board and my heavy service bag. I get to the hotel and it's a bleeping mad house? A manager kinda barks at me and I tell him I got a emergency call for their laundry? He said Oh yea Ok, take that door down to the basement. I do and it's a darker hallway and as I turn the corner I come face to chest with Carl Malone??!! My GOD he was HUGE!! I'm 5' 10" 175lbs Then behind him was Stockton, Then Charles I was in total shock!! Yes it was the Dream Team! They were playing in Portland? Then Magic and Clyde. I had seen Clyde once or twice briefly b/c I serviced the Blazers headquarters building and he looked at me and smiled but it was ? I've seen you on his face? But I stood up and to the very side of the corridor. It was a corridor that connected 2 fine hotels. I stood out of their way and didn't say a word! As they all walked by I was just smiling and being respectful. Bird walked by, nodded and I heard him say loudly see, that's the way people should act, like that guy.! Jordan looked at me little grin and he said Yea.. I was in shock! lol They all walked by, dimming the lights lol Then finally Patrick stopped, pointed at me kinda like a gun with his thumb up and gave me the biggest smile I have ever seen on a person? His smile like him was huge! lol It was epic.. I was so pumped and told Everyone! I went into the laundry and thankfully it was a super stupid easy fix as in one connection came off a dispenser and I told the staff and they were all duh yes, yes we all know!! They said we are not to talk to them but they are all very nice. I was on cloud 9..lol All we had were pagers then later pagers that sent actual text messages! oh wow! ..lol No cell phones. Unless you had one like a brick and boy those were $$$ lol I just remembered how could anyone run in front or try to stop Carl Malone..He was so big and wide? Ha ha..
