Understandably, developing 600hp at 20km/l while being reliable in the long run is challenging. But what if HKS adopts Porsche's 6 stroke engine approach? Since Porsche's newly patented 6 stroke approach adds power & fuel economy thru 1 extra power & compression stroke respectively, that allows HKS to hit 600hp & 20km/l (or 20km+/l) more easily. With Porsche's 6 stroke approach, HKS can use 1 dual scroll vertical turbo instead of 2, & focus on improving the tech of the turbo to spool faster & be fuel efficient like BorgWarner's EFR series. As for the cast iron RB block, customers can custom make a lighter but stronger 1, reducing HKS's development costs. But actually to me, I'll be happy if the goal is 300-500hp instead of 600hp. We can even lower the power goal to maybe 300 or 400hp if the existing steel chassis is switched to titanium alloy with steel crumple zones. Imagine a fuel efficient GTR that can be driven daily. The lighter chassis will complement the lower power figures by a lot.

Can we get more NA focused parts on this gen? Not everyone wants to boost the 2.4L. ITB’s,built head parts for higher rpm would be appreciated for us NA folks
