I havent done the final boss, can you get the true ending and I guess regular ending in the same save file? (there are 2 separate endings?)

Perfect! Best farming guide for this game I've seen yet. One enemy 50 souls and quick reset. I actually found a quicker reset. Get his health down to a one or two hit kill, then let him hit me until I'm on a one hit kill, then kill him and then kill myself by jumping in the water. No need to go back to the door.
