I tell you this. The Murano and Subaru have the dreaded CVT. KIA came out swinging with design, but every mechanic will basically tell you; it's junk. I have a '23 Pathfinder and it's already had the fuel pump, rear wiper motor, front camera and sensors, and seat memory module replaced. I also replaced the battery at 10K miles. I think the transmission input shaft is going bad, or it's so sensitive to being on a slight incline it's will clunk going into gear. It happens when it's in choke mode too. I'm waiting for the '25 Passport and pick one up in March. I'm done with Nissan.

I don.t agree....Murano is a great car that deserves to be appreciated ....Remember it is not American made.

It’s worst it’s French made with a Japanese name but without the Japanese reliability thanks to the Renault influence.

If I was buy I by a Mazda if I was buying a Japanese car then perhaps a Lexus. I had infinity and really really like them, but I’m not a fan of anything that has a CVT

I do not care much about gas mileage because to get high gas mileage it takes lots of money and fancy controlers that often fail that cost more than you will EVER save on gas. In a few years there will be all kinds of failures that will cost you a fortune. So you say just sell them and dump problems on some one that wanted a cheap car. Result,,, low resale value, still costs you a bundle.

I have the ‘24 Honda Touring AWD and the gas mileage is amazing. I am consistently getting 40 mpg’s or over. A couple of rides ago was shocked that I got 51 mpg. Just absolutely love this car.

I had a Toyota starlet hatchback in the early 90”. It would be called a small SUV now. Averaged 43 mpg for 250,000 miles. Car companies could do better if they wanted to.

I have a 2021 Kia Niro PHEV and love it! Amazing gas mileage, depending on how often you plug it in. Even as a HEV it still gets under 5 litres per 100 kms. Perfect for a couple and a pet. 😜😁

Regarding the Honda/ Rav4 comparison, this is ICE engine comparison. The hybrid comparison would put the Rav4 in the lead in my opinion. The hybrid design of the Toyota is better, both hybrid and PHEV, Toyota's Prius has over 20 yrs of proven reliability. The Prius design has been adapted to the RAV4 and other models.

Subarus are really the only ones that reach a certain level of ability now a days, unfortunately. In earlier years RAV4 had some more capable models, but not anymore, you’re pretty much getting a lifted Camry with a non-true AWD (that’s not a bad thing, hell I love Camrys, but I’m just saying that there’s nothing else like a Forester Wilderness as far as off road capability in the the SUV class that exists below trucks). What a shame!!!! I would love to be able to buy a Toyota that has the capability of a Subaru. Yet I don’t want Subaru’s reputation of reliability, I want Toyota’s. Yeah there’s 4Runner but that’s really a truck, a totally different class. And I’m not saying that Subaru reliability is garbage, but it ain’t Toyota.
