Just been to the Universal Studios lately, it is a different kind of good experience. But i still miss this musical fountain, it is way better than the current one. Geographically it is the casino and hotels that takes the place of the fountain. Universal Studios is located on the Northeast of Merlion and the original position of the fountain is directly North of the Merlion, where the lasers are shot out from.

@alvinngheng I've done research myself, independently. It's true: the people who have Down Syndrome who I've worked with are much easier to deal with when dealt with kindly. They are 'spoiled' when all they know is hatred from those around them. People with Down Syndrome are very keen at learning from the emotions of others, and if they are surrounded with viciousness they will be more difficult to deal with.

@AspergirlSithstress That is why I mention that you can love them that way, but what if that is their desire and their body betray them. There are instants where two downs of the opposit sex at puperty came to that when left alone, it is because this is a natural sexual urge that only normal people can undrstand and control.

@AspergirlSithstress A good coach is one that must be strict and cruel, a strong mentorship and role model. You may feel that it is rude to be shouted at, but that is what keep soldiers going, football players motivated. No amount of niceness is going to get things done, because people are lazy by nature even the normal ones

@AspergirlSithstress Ha... what do you know about research? Doing survey from a small sample size does not represents the majority of the whole population. Many scientific studies are doctored to control the mind sets of many people, mainly to benefit the commercial, be it a social norm or sterotype practice. While we can treat them with care and kindness, we must not spare the rod and spoy the child.

@alvinngheng People with Down put up with rejection, stereotypes, underestimation, hatred and bigotry on a daily basis. I suppose you must encounter that in the real world as well, right? People laugh at you as you walk by, you're made fun of on television in your own country, nobody thinks you deserve an education, your neighbors don't even think you deserved the right to have been born. That happens to you every day of your life, doesn't it? People judge you poorly before you even speak?

Struggle through education just to get some certs, in order to struggle with our careers just to earn missy sum of money to survive while the government takes it back slowly? All this syndrome people has to do is act adorable and everyone loves them while normal people are hated and left to die just because they are not good enough. Where is the logic in that, what have they gone through?

@dawn76010tx Oh you are not getting the point. I never hated them because they are down, is just that normal people like us will have to disappoint them all the time, because we cannot love them like they expected us to: Get married, make love and have more down syndrom babies that could not defend themself. From a scientific view, downs should not make love because their DNA is defective and it may pass on to their decendents. It is like a inhritence, that our decendents should not get.

@AspergirlSithstress Oh it so funny you people. When someone give a negative comment you will call that mocking and if someone gives a positive comment you call that complement. You call this open minded? You are just sterotyping based on your own perspective. So if the dancer item is not good and need lots of improvement, the coach is not surpose to correct them? In that case they can never improve because everything they do is so "nice" just because they are down. Is that what you are saying?

@AspergirlSithstress This I must agree with you, they must be corrected when done something wrong, but unfortunately to much gentle, loving training will drive their parents to their grave because it just doesn't work.

Yes, the truth hurts, Downs people could become burdern to people around them and that is the truth. The downs will dr drain their finances and no parent would hope to have a down for their children, because when they grow old there is no one they can rely on ... Open up your mind and think about it, life is more than just showing compassion to the disabled.

@AspergirlSithstress Are you any different? People like you are usually sensitive, judgemental and the controlling type. You need an open heart and mind to hear the truth, though it may be hurtful. You need to grow up and know that the world shows no compassion. Some people are born with an extra genome which makes them down syndrom, which burderns the normal people around them.

These people gets help all the time regardless, but I have seen many abled normal people suffering more than these people, they have to work their ass off, even at an old age, to provide aid to these special people. This defies the law of nature in the survival of the fittest for the greater good of humanity. Nature has no compassion for the living, but only in provisions for survival.

It is not easy to handle these people, because they do not know what is right and wrong. Have you seen them angry before, they have no limits. Someone with downs knows nothing but love, What did that girl do to harm you, she loved and excepted you. Downs people are cursed with love and abused with ignorance and hatred from people like you. I really like this dance routine... it doesn't matter if they dance perfect or not. They are beautiful in their own way. Nobody expects them to be perfect... they just want them to be who they are. I say keep on dancing.

@maglame It was in Sentosa, Singapore until the 2007 when they tear it down for the new Sentosa Resort. I just hope that this videos can bring back some sedimential values for those who are interested to watch.

@ilayumama In my title what I meant was what I meant, base on my fair judgment of the dance routine altogether and we are really out of synchronism, which makes everything quite messy. And it is really scary how one of these Down syndrome girls called me her Knight in Shining armor and wanted to marry me, after the little practice sessions we had together. It is not easy for a normal person to bring themselves down to help these people.
