Do you have a transcript? I have ADHD, read like 10x faster than being spoken to, and I constantly go back and forth between diagrams and pages and paragraphs and crap when I read. Watching video tutorials gives me a fucking headache because it is not at all easy to backtrack to a specific moment that I want to check.. Because I do that like 10 times a minute. I like to read sections from all around a text, not in linear format, because I use induction on examples in order to understand how to do things. Step-by-step really actually does not help me because it doesn't teach me understanding. Because.. Typically the way I learn is I learn to understand, and then I make my own steps based on understanding how everything works. Well, habit of scholarly studying things like engineering, literature, philosophy, etc. Linear is not the way for me.

Listened to this while writing a scene in my novel where my characters raid an enemy warship to assassinate one of its passengers, and in the process of the battle between two opposing fleets the ship is sinking, and they have to escape the sinking ship after finishing off their targets. FYI, the book is called 'The Insight Manifold' and will be coming out on March 15th, 2025. It's a sci fi story about technology in the 1300's advancing 400 years in the future in only 70 thanks to an alien artifact that lets you talk to an alien. It's got sword fights, weird technology, absolutely demented characters, philosophical discussions, politics, with lots of sex and violence. Peak sci fi.
