Great work, well done! I dealt with those wheels for many years before I caved in and bought new wheels! I actually polished them after I took them off the car, even with a Rupes iBrid Nano, it was a tedious affair.

Great video series and testing. Out of curiosity, would a sealent like TW Ice Seal & Shine or TW Ceramic Spray Coating not be a more suitable comparison vs BO Bead Machine?

Planning on a deep clean engine bay soon. I’m thinking about using my steam machine though. Less water. Going to do the same to my front wheel wells too. Steam should help get all the road grime off easier.

Nothing can clear these kind of scuffs on plastic . Not even using a heat gun which will make it disappear but will leave an oil shine different colour to the rest of the trim . If your car is new get a new plastic trim or If you worried like me when car from new cover those areas with clear paint protection film . They are in different sizes in Amazon .

In New Zealand the eclipse, Bowden's own bead machine, and Gyeon wet coat are all about the same price appox $35 per bottle which is 500ml for bowdens and gyeon and 473 for eclipse.

Would love to see an even better value spray sealant used Technicians Choice Graphene Spray Sealant. You can buy this stuff by the gallon for $50 and is the freaking BOMB. Bang for the buck? I have yet to find a better product.

I always wonder how really protective a spray on coating like WetCoat really is.....I'm skeptical to think you can just simply spray and wash it off and anything is really on the surface outside of the "beading" characteristic. Sometimes I think it's a really good "beader" but not a protector of paint. I can see using it in hard to reach areas like grills, etc...where are there are many design features and it's hard to coat. thoughts?
@itsinthedetail4843Ай бұрын
I like this comment Very interesting thought. Just have to work out an experiment to see what the difference is in protection. I'll keep thinking about it, and I'll post a video once I work out a way i can test this

@@itsinthedetail4843 awesome. Thanks. I’ve always wondered about looking at the paint on a microscopic level.

A lot of cracked car dashes are the result of leaving your car out in the hot sun! Your car can be an oven and the vinyl bakes. Of course there's going to be cracking. Discoloration is cause by the sun too. It's call bleaching, which happens to indoor wood furniture too when exposed to the sun. I don't see any evidence that Armor All is causing the cracking. Also, I happen to love Armor All on tires, especially on all black wheels which are the rage these days.

Doing contact wash on a dirty car straight after foaming it, without even rinsing wash mitt? I think you have scratched all the paint.
@daneberryman2 ай бұрын
Old cars that have cracked dashes was due to the type of foam used inside the dash it expanded / broke down over time. This charged in late 80s/90s so cracking now is all but gone.

Thank you for the comment. I had it on my car and it lasted about 3 months in extremely cold and rainy conditions. The car was also parked outside. I feel that in nicer conditions and a car that is garaged could last a bit longer. But I definitely did not get 12 months like they said
@talkingwithcars2 ай бұрын
